If I apply the promo code to an annual payment, I pay more since I get a single $2.50 discount.

    • Hi Luciano, the promo codes should correctly apply to annual payments now.

Win 2003 enough to be used on 256 Mb RAM?

    January 15, 2014 @ 3:16 pm | Reply
    • You can run Windows 03 on our 256MB plan however it is not advisable.

      January 15, 2014 @ 5:33 pm | Reply
    • Windows 2003 will boot on 256MB RAM, but you will only have ~50MB usable. We suggest you use a 512MB or better for Windows.

Yes, Server 2003 will run alright with 256MB. That is the recommended minimum, though it will run on as little as 128mb. Be sure to opt for the 32bit version if available though.

    • Unfortunately no promo that meets LEB criteria. If you are interested in a 2GB plan, submit a ticket to our presales department.

  12. how many virtual cores, and what’s the guaranteed service level for CPU usage? I would want to use it for scrypt cryptocurrency mining. thanks!

    • BobTatus:

Mining cryptocurrency is against the terms.

      January 19, 2014 @ 8:31 pm | Reply
    • CTS:

You will have a hard time finding a host that actually allows you to mine cryptocurrency on a VPS. You would ruin the performance for everyone else on the node.

  15. Ordered a 256MB KVM. A very good deal indeed. Support was very helpful, VPS performance is OK. They also have Windows images for the KVM up to Windows 7. For $2.5, this is a steal.

I’ve been with them for about 6 months now and am fairly happy. Good selection of distros, service has consistent uptime, basically it’s exactly what I expected. The panel they use is primitive but gets the job done. Staff responds to tickets in a timely manner.
