    According to: https://www.exabytes.com/hosting/dedicated-server

The Dedicated server 9,99$ is only for the first month? Unless the ‘order now’ link (that aint working atm) has some kind of coupon code.

well you should also consider it is a national holiday, bcuz its not reasonable to expect instant support anywhere right now, just good deals. even at my day-job at warehouse they are short on staff. I just got home from a 12 hour shift and they are very behind because everyone requested time-off to travel and be with families for Thanksgiving weekend.

Just signed up with HiFormance. 4GB KVM for $10 a month is a STEAL. switching from linode. Linode has a much better UI for managing your vps by far.

If you sign up for an annual payment the price drops by $1/yr and they let me double a resource.

$9 a month for 8gb ram, 4vcpu, 80gb ssd, KVM vps. crazy good deal.

Anyone else having issues with the Hello Graxer VPS?

First, the OS reinstall didn’t work. I made a ticket about that 6 hours ago, no answer yet.

Now if I can hardly connect to the VPS, then after a while it keeps disconnecting with this error message:
Socket error Event: 32 Error: 10053 Connection closing…Socket close.

Meanwhile the bandwidth usage stat keeps growing insanely fast. It is over 1500 GB now, and I haven’t even used the VPS.
Made a ticket about this also, no answer yet.

I figured out the OS reinstall was not working because of an addon in firefox called “Enable Right Click and Copy”.
When it is disabled, the OS reinstall works fine.

For the other issues I have no explanation yet.
I guess my vps has been hacked before i could use it.
Since I reinstalled the OS, I have no problems.

      • Tz,

Thank you for opening the ticket. We will look into your bandwidth issue. We utilize Virtualizor. It could mean that the panel is not reading correctly. Under some circumstances we do not suspend for bandwidth over usage.

Grabbed the offer from NFP. I tried to find a better deal but couldn’t find a SSD VPS for $10 bucks a year anywhere else. Good performance so far I must say.

    Thanks for this! :)

    • Hey Jake,

Thank you for ordering, and I’m glad to hear that you are happy with the performance. We designed our SSD VPS with the intention to be mind-blowing fast :P

@NFP, I live in a country where Paypal doesn’t exist. Do you accept other payment methods? Credit Card, skrill, etc…

    • Hey Et,

I’m working on getting Stripe support added now so you can pay via Credit Cards outside of PayPal.

Thanks for the NFPHosting offer in your Top-10!
Got one and while I’m waiting for add-on, I’m happily surprised, very reasonable and very efficient!!

I ordered from Virpus. Server was provisioned instantly. The order form only had CentOS 6 as a choice, but I wanted 7. After my order I logged in to the control panel and 7 was listed so I reinstalled the server with that.

Afterwards I started setting the server up for what I want. Issued a command line reboot and it went offline. Submitted a support ticket and was told the VM didn’t provision properly and they wanted to re-create it on another node. I have no problem with that, I haven’t really set anything up on it yet.

They have not re-created the server, every time they just reply to the ticket now saying they rebooted the server on their end and I should be able to connect to it now. Basically I have a server I cannot reboot without it going offline and it also has me questioning the reliability of it now. This has been going on for over 24 hours, probably closer to 36. I just thought I would share my experience so far. As of this writing, this is still an ongoing problem, I am currently waiting for them to respond to my ticket. My last “we rebooted the server for you reply” still left my server offline.

That was a pretty good deal from NFP, I wouldn’t be able to sleep if I knew I missed out on it!

I already had a HDD based VPS with them, now this SSD VPS is freaking FAST, on a whole new level. I’d say at least 20 times faster, just based on some of the performance tests I’ve ran. Plus, it definitely feels a lot more nimble. I don’t think I’ll be going back to HDD based VPS after this.

Woohoo for Black Friday. Keep ’em coming. Looking forward to Cyber monday offers. My wallet is ready.

    • Hey Paul,

Awesome! That was the whole concept/vision behind our SSD VPS! I’m happy to see some sort of confirmation and client feedback to that :)

We’ve invested thousands of dollars into the SSD’s that go into these machines to make sure no corners were cut. It’s like driving a car with a turbocharged V8 engine. We wanted to provide you with more than enough power for every possible scenario or requirement.

Bought the hostslayer VPS took a few days to process the payment in which I kept getting “overdue” notices.
Finally got the VPS information and the specs are completely off.
I got 1 GB of bandwidth; yes you read it right 1 GB not even 1 TB.
I got 4 GB of memory out of the 10 GB in the deal.
And I only got 75 GB disk space out of the 200 GB.
The website is constantly bugging out or not functioning so your ticket might not even be submitted into the system or it’ll randomly say it doesn’t exist, and later pop up in the system again.
The client panel has been going on, and off line for the past few days so overall not experiencing a pleasing service.

      The issue has been fixed.
Victor responded within 3-4 hours of the ticket being created, and fixed the specs as well as going above, and beyond by extending the length of the service.

I ordered NFP and was only satisfied at the first several hours. The IPv6 IPs they provided to me were unstable, I can’t reach the VPS via those IPs, and it happened so many times in a day. Their support was nice, and changed the IPs for me, but he problem still persists. When the IPv6 IPs were unreachable, I pinged the IPs from different locations (I have other VPSes running in the US) and all have the same problem. Sometimes the problem went away by itself after a while, sometimes I need to ask support to investigate. But after trying for 3 days without success, I have to request for refund.

    • Hey H,

IPv6 should be fully working now. If you’re still experiencing issues, please provide me with a ticket ID.
