Seems like the OpenVZ SSD 12GB deal is only for Los Angeles but the locations available for selection are Dallas, Chicago and New York?

Sadly the ubuntu 16.04 is running kernel 2.6 . which is very old.
I didn’t check what centos specs were.
But in all honesty The speed is there, with centos we had issues,. sofar ubuntu is stable, But I don’t think we will stay.
kernel 2.6 is from ubuntu 11. which is what makes it sad.
I have learned to avoid solus.

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
  • Akismet is used for spam detection. Quoting webhostingtalk.com URL seems to get binned consistently here, but I do peek into the spam box frequently to publish those comments.
