I’ve used these people for a few months. They seem fine. Would have gotten another 4GB VPS from them, but it doesn’t look like they’re offering anything in LA at the moment.

    Stay away from this megazonehosting.
I bought Master Reseller last time.

    in the cPanel:
They hide the CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage.
They also hide “Display File Usage information” (inode count).
    This company is not honest.
I put in ticket to get escalated and I’m still waiting for a response.

    • I’d run like hell. Not only have I had the problems listed above but now they tell me ‘we are reporting you to fraudreport.com’ which is apparently a website hosting companies use to detect fraud. Not sure how this company thinks fraud is when a company sells you hosting, is down constantly then suspends your server (claim was high usage – the server had NOTHING on it but Webmin and a Icecast server. Since it was a clone of my large server I can confirm the normal CPU usage averages 1-3% and bandwidth well below the offered limit. And when they suspended the server they didn’t even take the time to tell me they just shut it down. And then they reactivated the server with no explanation at all. So I requested a refund since they clearly have some serious issues with their servers. The refund was granted which is all I sought considering the constant issues I had with this group and that since I signed up had the server go down every 1-3 days on average.

I’ve been running Linux boxes for years, have dealt with a ton of hosting companies from VPS to dedicated servers. The only three I ever had treat me like this… the other two went out of business and the third is well known to have issues.

      2 CPU Core
      2GB RAM
      40GB SSD Storage
      3TB Bandwidth

Webmin. Icecast. That’s the only two things running on the server.
      Their boxes couldn’t handle that.

Can you please tell, which hosting you are using? If you are using with dedicated IP, then it is not just you, it’s for all maybe.

One would think a solo IP for a VPS. I switched to a local company. A few bucks more but running the identical setup I have not had my VPS go down once, I get almost full advertised speeds and have had no ‘resource usage’ issues once. server4you.com is the company but may not be a benefit to others – I picked them because their datacenter is right here in town and get sub 10ms pings. I am just getting away from the long list of providers who are all sitting on Colocrossing. In the past three months I had one company disappear, one who had such slow speeds it was worthless and then this one who made some really wild claims and blamed me for the constant issues when their own control panel would lose connection with the VPS.

XDDDDD,now i just logo in the control panel and reinstall the system, but i cant connect it.

I am looking for Master Reseller – 3 Plan, and i am in touch with them from last 30 days, but they are not responding me as they are saying our sales team is not available 24/7, but at least they can answer me within 24 hours. Still no answer i am getting. I have bought same Master Reseller plan 3 from Alpharacks with dedicated IP, but it is always down more then up. I have purchased paid monitoring plan that send email notification every after 5 seconds. So that’s issue i am facing with dedicated IP, can anyone tell me is this megazone hosting get down again and again on dedicated IP?

I’m interested to hear if you have any update for your issue?

I’m considering ordering a master reseller just to play around. (I’ve read enough to know not to put anything important on there.) But if they are not even activating orders, I don’t think I should bother….

      • Jeff:

Update: I went and placed an order for Master Reseller Plan 1 (thought it’s just 10 bucks, nothing much to lose). I did have to open a ticket to get the service activated though. They told me that it’s because they don’t offer Master Reseller as a regular plan.

Anyway, the ticket was responded within a reasonable time frame (a little bit more than 1 hour, longer than the 30 minutes they claimed). Again, that’s acceptable as I’m a new customer, and they probably have to do fraud check and stuff. So remember to shoot them a ticket after you order.

I used a php probe script to see the server info, and things look pretty good actually. Here are some of the stats:

System uptime: 162 days 14 hours 30 minutes
        CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1240 v3 @ 3.40GHz (8-core)
        CPU usage: 12.04%
Disk Usage: 797.11 GB used out of 1,796.828 GB (55.64% free)
Physical Memory: around 28-30GB used out of 31.222 GB (This is common with WHM servers, I think?)
RAM Usage: around 15-16GB used out of 29 GB
        I/O (10MB):    14ms                    --> converts to 0.7 GBps
Download speed:90.7 seconds for 100MB --> converts to 8.82 Mbps

I’m new to LowEndBox.com, and I’ve gotta say, the deals are very attractive. I have now ordered services from 4 companies and all of them are running smoothly (with a total cost of less than 30 bucks per year!). I’ve read enough cautionary tales here to know that I must carefully backup all my stuff, though.

I hope you paid using PayPal. Go to PayPal and request a refund for lack of providing a service. I will give due credit that my trouble tickets were always answered although it usually took hours and once they got around to it always brought the server back up however 24 – 48 hours later it was down again. Would I bother with this company? Hell no. If you complain too much about your server being down or request a refund they will report you to some site called FraudReport as they threatened to do to me. Yes – for complaining about their poor service.

This is just another Colocrossing reseller like 75% of the offerings here. Would I waste my time with it? Nope.
