Great offer, bought a vps pool two or three months back. These guys are fantastic

I even referred a friend to them and they gave me double bandwidth for free without question. I think this is a provider I’m going to stick with for a long time :)

    Happy Cyber shopping!

I just signed up for a pool and now realized that docker is not supported!!
Last time Alex responded to a question about docker support back in August:

      BigFootServers Alex:
At this time, Docker is not supported out of the box. We are actively working on a solution for this as we are seeing an increased demand for this.

Wonderful company – and the owners/managers are very helpful. Much better experience than going with a giant like HostGator. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others, the support is very personalized and caring.

I wouldnt them recommend right now. Their system is horribly unstable as of the time of writing this comment. I have had nothing but outages and VPS’s going offline. I just booted 6 vps’s that were offline and now I have 4 offline 4 hours later.

I bought a 6x VPS Pool plan earlier this AM. Got all 6 instances finally set up and working between LA and Dallas. Support answered my questions within an hour which is acceptable, considering how busy I bet they are because of the cyber monday crazyness.

Bought the 10x VPS plan with the expectation of an LA located VPS. Unfortunately there is actually no LA spots available, and the Dallas VPS is HORRIBLY slow even when we crank the resources up. If we can’t get an LA location then we may be forced to ask for a refund, as it is the server we’re on lags far too much.

    November 27, 2018 @ 12:36 am | Reply
    • LA region is back in stock now. We ran out of space for a short time, as we’ve received hundreds of orders in less than a <24 hr period due to this sale.

Thankfully, a new shipment of nodes came in to our LAX datacenter today so we went ahead and added more room in this region. That said go ahead and try to deploy now, it should work.

Bought 10 VPS Pool, tested with LA but with error message = “Auto select error (No free nodes found in group LosAngeles)”, seems like LA is out of order. Any plan to add more LA nodes to VPS Pool? Thanks!

For those who haven't ordered yet – you're lucky! We re-enabled stock on all Cyber Monday packages for a limited time, because we now have the additional nodes available to support the capacity/demand. So if you haven't got one yet, now's a perfect time before we expire these promotions for good!

Stay away! I tried the service and decided I needed KVM (to support Docker) so I requested cancellation/refund they said there would be no problem since this is within the refund period. It has been 2 days and now they are not responding…

You sound really antagonistic. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were one of the clients featured on https://clientsfromhell.net/ , lol (or what I call a devil client).

Seriously, only 2 days and you are already complaining? For one, it is a USA holiday, and for two, they are probably backloged because of the Cyber Monday demand. keep us updated after a reasonable time frame.

Interesting concept I mut admit. I never had a “VPS Pool” before – it’s actually pretty cool. Lets you create, destroy VPS instances on your own determinism. Pretty sweet interface to.

  15. We run crypto masternodes for ourselves and our clients. Would definitely save money switching to a pool, but the following TOS is concerning:

“BigFootServers reserves the right to refuse refunds to Clients who are using BigFootServers servers for any kind of distributed computing such as mining,, FOLDING@HOME, or cryptocurrency related applications (Example: Bitcoin Mining). Additionally, payments made using Cryptocurrency as the payment method are not eligible for refunds.”

So, you accept crypto payments, but want nothing to do with crypto in your servers?

    • telsey:

You’ll find this to be the case with 99.99% (if not 100%) of the VPS providers out there. And prolly 100% of the providers on LOWENDbox.

Usually crypto related apps are only allowed on Dedicated servers no matter what provider you go with.

      • MiningGuy:

This clause is usually used in cases where someone is doing CPU intensive mining or distributed computing not just running master nodes or other crypto software

Any update about run masternodes there ? I think after the first time to run (sync all blockchain can took a few time and higher utilization then after all goes smooth) I saw many people running their masternodes stuff in vultr and contabo and share good reviews about it, but I think the vps pools will be more cheap if we can run without any issues in their rules.

I had a server with them a few months ago. It went down multiple times, and they moved nodes for me, which didn’t solve the issue. I asked for a refund, and it went nowhere for over 14 days. I ended up having to open a paypal dispute to get a refund. Strangely within hours of opening the dispute, they refunded me entirely.

I very much recommend avoiding them. Read other reviews on the site, and there are numerous people who have had the same issues.

Yeah I saw so many bad comments and then the company don’t even care to answer or try to solve the issues. Have you found any other vps pool company who care a little about their customers ?

          November 30, 2018 @ 2:55 pm | Reply
    • Paul:

Patrick, that was a WHMCS feature. They use that as their billing system as well as every other Provider on this site. If you open a dispute, the PayPal IPN will report back to their WHMCS and WHMCS will mark the invoice as unpaid/overdue

I was reading the older offers from bigfoot so many complains and don’t have any answer… refund request took 15 days and need to wait the next batch… All you guys here are still happy to comment about the vps services ? Because it’s really confusing so many bad reviews and like no one cares and the company keep going with these type of conduct ?

    • Paul:

I think what you fail to realize is that it’s only nature of the homo sapiens to complain and write something negative the moment something goes wrong, even if for a brief second.

And once things are fixed, such homo sapiens are MIA (missing in action). And when things are working swell, more often than not, us humans are not motivated to take the time out of our day to help others and share the experience. Sucks for a hosting company but I noticed this time and time over again (I have been observing hosting companies for well over 15 years).

      November 30, 2018 @ 1:35 pm | Reply
      • kiko:

I see your point, but why we have the MIA from the host company side to answer “solved or we are investigating” and keep as is without any update and about people who complain about ticket leave open without answer for days I mean we don’t have the answer but you can see whats look like right if I am owner of this kind of business I think even with the worst service in the earth I will keep answered these posts just to show some respect for the people/customer.

I cannot recommend. Tried to sign-up and site says “Fraud check” (even before any paypal info was asked for) and to open support ticket. Opened ticket and they haven’t moved in 3 days. Page says they use IP address to check fraud, and I can assure you my work IP address is legit and has no problems at any other sites for years.
If they cannot sign-up new users, how can we expect them to run a VPS service.

    Pros:
    They try
They are helpful for the most part
    Very inexpensive

    Cons:
Seems like once every 2 months the servers are down for the weekend.
Every couple weeks the servers seem to go down for 2-6 hrs
VPSs are restarted about once every week or two
You will get shutdown if CPU load avg is high for more than ~40 mins once every day or two.

    Summary:
Seems like they are over populated for their resources/over sold. Server administration leave’s much to be desired. Probably ok for a non production server.
