          Nope.

May be that since was limited to only the first 200 really means that they sold out and the offer expired.

  4. Mister:

Grabbed one (KVM) as soon as I saw it.
Didn’t realize it only had 1GB of HDD (entirely my fault here), but I think I will be able to manage with just that.

First impressions, it feels incredibly snappy and fast for something this cheap.
It’s way too soon to tell anything, but if this holds up I may be considering moving my main VPSs to this provider (really impressed!).

sorry for the slight delay in deployment of VPS today. We are a bit overwhelmed by the amount of orders that have been rolling in.
Between 01:00 pm and 04:00pm CEST we received new orders almost every 2 minutes. Thanks a lot guys!
We are working on the backlog and the last outstanding orders will be delivered within the next 2 hours.

    Have a great weekend!

  13. Excellent service, I only wish their KVM micro is a bit larger or at least they allow you to buy some extra disk space as an addon, since 1GB is hardly of any use other than VPN.

Support takes a while to reply but overall I hardly need them because the server is stable.

A review I have done earlier on their VRS Smart plan:

    • Hi!
thanks for your feedback! We will be upgrading the micro plans as soon the enterprise grade sas drives will be back to normal pricewise.
Support is slower on weekends – sorry for that. At the moment we are struggling a bit, due to the tremendous amount of orders we got in via LEB.

      Thanks for your understanding!

      Basically:
No IRCds except in Austria, DDoS means you HAD a VPS – BNCs/Eggdrops are fine, except in Efnet
No (hardcore)porn in Italy, Germany and Poland – Softcore not advised either
No Spam, No (D)DoS, No Portscans or other stuff that gets us lots of Abuse
No public proxys/VPNs (Private/Sold ok if SMTP and Torrent ports are blocked)
No Torexits, No Torentry (middle is fine)

EDIS swedish location has been under ddos attack for over 2 weeks and according to support there is nothing they can do about it. My VPS is pretty much useless because of this.

  34. Jevermeister:

I recently discovered that a new iptables wrapper is available for VRS.
Unfortunately there is no support for chains, but if you just ban all traffic from an ip, it works too.

Check this snippet out, you have to place it at /etc/fail2ban/action.d/iptables-vrs.conf for example.

    [Definition]
    actionban = vrs_iptables -I INPUT -s -j DROP
    actionunban = vrs_iptables -D INPUT -s -j DROP

and thats all. It will clear all bans (because of the missing timestamp) if you restart fail2ban, otherwise it works fine.

    Regards,
    Jan

    • Jevermeister:

      Additional info:

Of course you shouldn’t catch incoming UDP requests with fail2ban(!) because the origin can be faked.
And just set banaction = iptables-vrs in jail.local

Sorry for my real bad english, but i want say few strings about Edis.AT

I was use a lot of different cheap vps hostings, and i think, edis.at is best.

1.) Great Ping in different Europe Locations.
    2.) VERY Good Support Team!
3.) Humanity Support! What do not laught of their clients (as like buyvm do!!!) And kind for newbie in linux!
    4.) Not bad Control Panel
    5.) Very Cheap Prices!
6.) Very good updtime, + if edis do technical works they send emails before this words (before few days)
7.) Very good vpses for game servers (great ping, good upload/download speed ~ minimum 70mbit/s (it’s i think shared, but still very good), Very good CPU’s (no troubles with CPU).

I really recommend use Edis.at offers to all Europians/exUSSR countrys. Because it’s much better than hetzner, linode (i was use that too!), + edis.at have good prices, good uptime, etc. Thank you edis.at for your services!

Again, forgive my really suck english!
