LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

GigaPros – $48/Year 1GB & $7/Month 2GB OpenVZ VPS in Dallas

Andy, from GigaPros, has sent us some exclusive OpenVZ deals from Dallas, the promotion is set to last for a one month period. GigaPros is a registered business (GigaPros.com LLC), and has been running for more than six consecutive years. They have been awarded multiple web hosting related awards throughout their operation too, and that is something nice to see. The virtual servers are hosted on nodes equipped with an AMD Opteron 6272 processor (16 cores), 32GB RAM, and SATA drives with a RAID 1 setup. GigaPros has never been featured on LowEndBox before, if you have a service with GigaPros or plan to order, please do leave a review or a comment below.

GigaPros has an online 24×7 live chat help desk, available for sales queries, technical support, and even billing related questions. Clients are also given the chance to order an optional FTP backup account with up to 100GB of space, starting at a mere $0.95/month for 2GB of FTP space.

GigaPros accepts payments using Credit Cards, PayPal, as well as 2CheckOut. Something that we do not see often here, is their Anytime Money Back Guarantee policy, which you can read about more here. Torrents, adult sites, warez sites, gambling sites, hacking sites, and gameservers are just a few examples of what is not allowed on their network – therefore, I strongly suggest that you do read their Terms Of Service document for more information before ordering.

I just signed up with these guys and find the service to be horrible, first off the client area doesn’t show any information about your VPS (http://gyazo.com/c07fb5ad9446724111a47427727bd7e7) take a look at that image, next the support is brutal I am talking to Roger S for the past hour on support chat and he cannot fix anything and tells me it is normal for it to say Unavailable

    0/5 stars.. stay away

Ordered one last week. Took a little while to setup but still got it done. I chose the wrong OS on sign up and the happily re-installed for me 12.04 ubuntu. No downtime and still smooth. Of course they don’t have a good control panel or status page but so far so good i would say.
