      Hi Kyle,

I have attempted to contact the sales team twice so far using the chat feature on the website and both times it has ended up just timing out and cancelling. This is absolutely terrible service and I cannot even imagine what the support will be like once HiFormance actually has our money.

Do you have HDD for OpenVZ? 20GB SSD is too little.

  3. The prices are adorable!!! But internet connection is too low to Europe and special to Bulgaria.
    Mirror 1 is 300 kb/s – I have 60% packet loss in this hop ae-2-3201.ear1.Frankfurt1.Level3.net
Mirror 2 is 100 kb/s – Have 30% packet loss at this hop too ae-2-3216.ear4.Frankfurt1.Level3.net

My ping is 200ms. I have purchased OVZ for 3 years. But if this is fixed and internet connection to Europe/Bulgaria is good, I will renew for more 6-7 years. I repeat The prices are adorable!

Whoa that OpenVZ deal is a steal. What are some things could do with 8GB RAM? I was thinking a Minecraft server.

Does the VPS support Docker containers?

    • MarcusVPS:

By default the kernel does not support docker, but I put in a ticket and they upgraded the kernel to the version that I requested pretty quickly (I suspect they just moved me to another host, but that doesn’t really matter).

      • Paddy:

Were you able to get docker to work?

How did you test the speed, I have tried their test files and they seem fine (UK)?

  7. Creling:

Anyway, they don’t support refunds, which is bad and means I need to make a 12$ gamble.

They are not trust worthy, tried them once and failed in expectations. Their servers are very over loaded and getting very very low speed.

Does HiFormance have any relationship with WootHosting? They’re my current host and they’re failing me miserably. Just looking at some of the comments here and the hosting locations, it looks the same.

Should have waited before posting this. I hope I didn’t fool anyone into thinking this service is reliable. Noticed at least 1 extended outage (1hr+) pretty much every day. Too bad, but I guess not totally unexpected considering the “value” of the plan.

Would it be possible to upgrade to this if I already have a 10$/year plan from you already? (from leb)

Definitely NO refunds. Beware. They use old kernels and then you are stuck.

My experience as well… old Kernel/OS. Scammers with no refunds.

Unfortunately since I started using Hiformance OpenVZ I have had several outages which were apparent because my remote app was unable to retrieve any data. Running ping tests confirmed the network was down. Traceroute showed no response from a point in LAX. Considering I have noticed 3 extended outages in almost as many days, and that I only attempt to access my server a few times per day, I can only conclude that this service was not worth $12 and I’ll have to look elsewhere for hosting. Starting to wonder if it’s worth trying to play the $12 lottery with these bogus companies presenting at LEB. Does anyone know of any cheap hosting that is actually reliable? I could deal with slow speeds and not so great latency, but the outages are absurd.

The provider is very very dangerous!!!!!!!!!!! As somebody said above, I met the same abuse, they terminated my service without any notification so I lost my data since they think running a scam program. Just be careful if you are using their services.
