“A cloud without the SAN. Now you don’t need to worry about them SAN failures.”

So… what you mean to say is that it’s not a cloud at all?

I have had services with Matt in the past and definitely one of the best in terms of performance and reliability. If I had a need for any more VPS I would get this but maybe I still will :P

        • Hello,

Yes this offer is still up, we are a little behind on provisioning the new orders but we will have everyone up and running tonight.

We are working through sales tickets as quick as we can, but our priority right now is getting customers who have ordered up and running.

If I’m being kind I would say that the pre-sales website statement: “If we don’t have your OS, send us an official ISO and we can mount your own ISO. Now you have the freedom to install almost any OS” is an oversight; if not I’d say it’s a misleading sales tactic.

I would ask that they update this to properly and clearly represent the fact that they do not allow any flavour of Windows instead of hiding behind the statement that they bury this fact in an obscure KB which is not clearly linked to.

Also, I can report very slow and rude responses to tickets relating to this topic.

    • Hello,

I am aware of exactly who you are; you still read the knowledge base and linked it into your ticket requesting us to add the Windows ISO to your account, despite the fact it clearly says that we do not allow it. This is the ISO requests department and Setup department (Provisioning of servers – yours was already provisioned) you are talking about; which are both extremely low priority departments. Considering you already knew the answer to the question you asked, it begs to question why you would even submit it.

Despite you also being aware we didn’t offer Windows it didn’t stop you using your VPS for over a week before requesting a refund.

I am also aware that the ticket system, suggested a response to you as soon as you typed Windows in telling you that it was not available; which answered your question there and then instantly. Hence why we have a knowledge base system. May I also point out that you “If we don’t have your OS, send us an official ISO and we can mount your own ISO.” – Considering you read this and tried to use it to get us to add Windows as a result of this, you never once sent us an official link to the ISO.

You also ordered a package which is not listed on our website; so why you where trying to use our website content for plans listed on our website to try and force us to add Windows; I found your tickets incredibly rude and showed an immediate disobedience to our policy’s frankly ignorant and insulting. You never once displayed any respect to myself when dealing with us.

Your account has been closed, and we wish you the best of luck in finding another provider.

    • Hello,

Please submit a sales ticket so we can look at the reasoning behind this.

I ordered one of their plans on the 6th of Feb, paid via Paypal and it is still pending. I left 3 support tickets in regards to the time frame of setup and have yet to hear back….

    • Hello,

I can confirm you did hear back to your two sales tickets (third one was closed by the customer less than 3 hours after submitting it outside of operational hours).

The other tickets that you opened where responded to on the same day (even out of hours), we received no response from you asking for any more information on your order for example a valid hostname and a full first name and last name. As you failed twice to provide us with the information we required we notified you yesterday that we had declined your order and issued you with a full refund.

      Thanks

      Matthew

    Hello,

I’m wondering about the following questions:

    1. The price, does $7/Month means only for the first month or it means lifetime every month $7 until I cancel?
    2. And 25Gb SATA or SSD?
    3. And do you have Debian 6.0.8 pre-installed?

And your test file doesn’t work, how to check?

Thanks in advanced for your answers!

Important to note: In their “hostname” field, they want FQDNs, not just host names. Spent a while with their support trying to figure this out. They kept telling me I wasn’t giving them a valid hostname, eventually canceled my account. Tried a new one with a FQDN, and it worked.

I wish they’d post their rules on what they accept as a hostname, but there you go.
