LunaNode is a little over 1 year old now, having celebrated their first year in business on the 16th. Congratulations, guys! Their WHOIS information is public. They have registered as a business since the last time we’ve featured them. They’re known as “LunaNode Hosting Inc.” and are registered in British Columbia, Canada. VPS are provisioned in Toronto, Canada in the Cogent DC. Servers have dual L5639 CPUs and 1Gbps uplinks to a switch with a 10Gbps uplink! All services include high availability with automated fail-over. They have a custom control panel used for LunaNode Dynamic which is based on OpenStack. The minimum amount you have to deposit the first time is $9, which they will increase to $12 for free. That’s a nice $3 saving, with which their smallest plan is free for almost a month.

PayPal and BitCoin are accepted; credit cards are processed through PayPal. They do not have an official refund policy, but generally grant refunds within seventy-two hours for whatever reason, provided the VPS has not been abused. Floating IPs, private networking, and snapshots are available at extra cost. LunaNode explicitly forbids Tor exit nodes, public proxies, and public virtual private networks. They allow Tor relay nodes, private proxies / VPN, adult content. Take some time to go through their TOS/AUP.

    Any ipv6? Or any plans for this?

    • Right now openstack does not fully support IPv6, we gave a /36 assigned from ARIN and as soon as openstack fully supports IPv6 we will implement it.

      The Special 2 GB plan will be available until September 1, 2014. All VMs are hourly billed so there is no discount for adding more credit in advance.

    How much the cost hourly for $7 / 2 GB?

    I want to order it, but will use it around 2-4 weeks later.

      Sorry, I just found:

      The Special 2048 MB RAM plan unfortunately can only be created within the next seven or so days; note that we do have a more expensive regular 2048 MB plan (which also has more disk and vCPU). You can see the list of plans and details at https://dynamic.lunanode.com/plans.php

      The Special 2048 MB is $0.0097 hourly ($7/mo), while regular one is $0.0139 hourly ($10/mo).

  6. Dedicated Customer:

    Hi I just registered as well but can not login either to your website. Want to use your coupon before your offer expires :-) My emails is “admin@v********r.com

    Also another question. We need a Canada IP which is why we are getting a VPS from you. However your test IP shows USA IP space. Will we get an IP that shows Canada? If so we will be a low maintence customer for many years!

    Thanks

    * Among the cheapest VPSes in the market
    * Service is excellent. Good response from the customer support team.
    * Had a short 2 hour downtime once in 3 months, but also got a refund for those 2 hours.
    * Good API support.
    * Feels like a micro-version of AWS.
    * LOVE IT!
