F**k only US for cloud VPS promo :(

Did someone tried their exotic cloud VPS locations?

These DC are real or just IP geolocated?

  2. All datacenters are real, it’s not geolocated.
If you want to order a VPS in an location outside the USA, don’t forget to click on the “Remove Cyber Monday Deal” above the different plans.

      • I’ve had servers in their south africa, australia, norway, denmark, spain, switzerland, mexico, and UK locations. i was never able to get a VPS in Japan, despite looking a few times a week over the course of 2 months or so.

i had issues with the australia location inparticular, though I forget which ISP they were using there. south africa was a bit too slow for me but it was fairly reliable (used and presumably still uses hetzner network). mexico city location uses softlayer, was great.

don’t recall the provider on the rest, but the two i’ve kept are norway & spain, been particularly happy with those two. (had five at one point, with the $7/mo tier 2 deal) mexico was a keeper as well, but didn’t really need (have dedicated servers in US already)

US residents must upload passport, driver’s license, bank statements and photographs of themselves holding their credit card. Somebody in Nigeria can buy all of this stuff and create a fake identity :)
