Server Mania were last listed on Black Friday two years ago. They go back several years and have been doing business as B2Net Solutions in the past and are a registered company in Canada. There’s not much else I can say about these guys really. Reviews on their last offer were mixed, but since that was two years ago I’m not sure whether that’s in any way useful. They offer not only dedicated servers but VPS as well, for which they have sent in offer in the past. They use ColoCrossing’s DC in Buffalo, NY which means they benefit from the Riorey DDoS protection equipment, which should give you some decent protection. Naturally, we’re looking forward to hear from you if you’re a customer or if you’re signing up with them as a result of this offer.

Payments can be made using PayPal, Skrill, Visa, and Mastercard. Your server can be upgraded but that would take it over the $49 limit. Here’s a list of their legal documents:

Bey very careful of these guys. Brought a server of these guys earlier in the year. I could not use it as it was against their TOS for the server to send any more than a few email per hour, so they will suspend the server.

    Just read their T&Cs.

    Especially Section 4 – Refunds & Disputes

All payments to Server Mania are non-refundable. This includes the one time setup fee and subsequent charges regardless of usage. All overcharges or billing disputes must be reported within 30 days of the time the dispute occurred. If you dispute a charge to your credit card issuer that, in The Company’s sole discretion is a valid charge under the provisions of the TOS and/or AUP, you agree to pay Server Mania an “Administrative Fee” of no less than $100.

    Keep away guys!

This is not a good company. Signed up with them about a year ago and these people literally suspended my server because I reported spam that sneakily had my domain in their spam. Even after showing them they wanted to charge me a ‘fine’ at which point I cancelled my services with them and moved elsewhere. Had quite a few other problems with them. Their network is slow and drops packets and has some very ugly ping times. Use at your own risk but you couldn’t pay me to use them.
