LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

SSD VPS - $48/year 1GB and $36/6 months 2GB OpenVZ VPS in Buffalo, Los Angeles and Toronto

SSD VPSJared, from SSD VPS, is back with two exclusive offers for SSD VPS! Both offers feature cheap IPv4 address pricing with more available at just $0.50/IPv4/month! SSD VPS have been featured a couple of times before. Compared to last time, the price dropped on both offers (mainly because they are now pre-paid for several months). Nodes are using the Intel Xeon E3-1240v2 Quad Core CPU, 4x 480 GB Intel 520 Series SSD and a LSI 9260-4i with BBU providing hardware RAID 10. Reviews on their previous offer were fairly mixed. Benchmark tests performed extremely well but some users seemed to have had problems with their support team. If you try them, please share your experiences with us!

You mean the comments about people mad because SSDVPS suspended their VPS for running stuff they’re not supposed to?

the Terms of Service of SSD VPS (the “Company”)

If “SSD VPS” is a company (i.e. a legal entity) where is the company registered? The TOS states it is “governed by the laws of California” but the California Secretary of State’s website doesn’t show any company named SSD VPS. Where is this “company’s” office located? Their WHOIS lists Quadranet’s address not their address, and since they do not directly do business with Quadranet (they use ColoCrossing in LA who colocs with Quadranet) the listing of Quadranet’s address on their WHOIS instead of their address is a violation of ICANN rules (the listing of a trade name rather than a legal entity as the registrant is also a violation of ICANN rules)

I wouldn’t dig too much behind the scenes with this company. It’s a shell company for ServerMania another shell company for another shell company etc. Either way it’s all good services if you don’t f-around.

i have been using them for over 6 months.

never had any downtime. ssd speeds are great. network speeds are great.

i guess all these people are just trolling?

don’t see why my vps would be working awesome while others are being shut down/etc ; unless they are doing things against their TOS which is most likely the case

Looks like they just disappeared? My server is not available anymore – got offline some hours ago, noone replies to my tickets, noone picks up the phone, and I can’t loging through control panel. Anybody knows what’s up with them?

  15. Their support is extremely bad. Their level 2 support is not responsive, seems like no body is interested to help. I have to give them the thumbs down not because I have a bias with them, it’s just that when ever there is a problem they will simply suspend your vps without giving you the chance to fix it. I had an occasion where I had all my data delete, I asked them to give me a refund but they re-enabled the server instead. Have been having countless problems with them ever since. I won’t recommend hosting with this company in any way.

Many of the VPS services I have tried go down or are really slow. This place has been consistent and is a good price.
