LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

TacticalVPS - $1.75/month 256MB, $5/month 1GB KVM VPS in Jacksonville and Los Angeles

There’s a first time for everything, and this is the first time I’m posting an offer that was not sent in to me. I recently found out about this provider and wanted to share this with you. I plan to keep doing this in the future, just once a month or so. Hope you enjoy it!

TacticalVPSTacticalVPS is a company run by Ian, who I’ve heard is a military veteran. The domain was registered in August 2013, so they have been around almost half a year. I’ve read quite some good reviews about them and eventually decided to give them a go myself. I can’t say I’m disappointed: I’m actually very satisfied with my machines I have with them! Their host nodes in Jacksonville have Dual 5520 CPUs, 24GB of RAM, and 2x 1TB hard drives in RAID1. In Los Angeles the host nodes have a AMD Opteron 12 core CPU, 64GB of RAM, and 4x 1TB hard drives in RAID10. They have two special, annual offers, but since 3 out of 4 of them are out of stock, I’m going to list (some of) their regular offering:

256MB KVM

1GB  KVM

All offers are available in both Jacksonville, FL, and Los Angeles, CA. Not everything is in stock, as I’m posting this on own initiative.

More offers inside!

They also have a good variety of OpenVZ plans available in Dallas, TX. Here are some highlights:

TacticalVPS accepts payments via PayPal. They have a 7-day no questions asked refund policy, so you are safe to test their service. IPv6 is available for sure in Dallas. Contact their support department for more information on this. Please read their complete Terms of Service before buying!

These are listed as the three reasons to buy from them:

  • Honor: We honor our customers not matter what plan you have. We will provide the best customer support as humanly possible.
  • Courage: We don’t have anything to hide and will not tell you otherwise. If something is broke or down I let everyone know. Also we might not know everything, but we will find the answer to it.
  • Commitment: We take this very seriously. You made a commitment to us by purchasing a plan. So in turn we owe you that commitment to strive to bring you the best Service possible.

This not only sounds promising, I can tell you from personal experience that their customer support has been very good!

I suggest running a check for this posters to see if they are not made behind VPNs, for a first LEB post, such sudden amount of positive customers is HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE.

    • CTS:

I’d say the same thing. It just seems weird. Normally there is nothing but negative comments for every provider.

    • Lucas:

Damn.. its a not FIRST post, they already listed several times on LET,and also have positive feedback from many users. Just read more on LET. :) Ian informed about every resolved network problem or even restart node via email, no surprises at all, very stable.

    • DalComp:

TacticalVPS has been posting offers on LET, and feedbacks are generally good. I was convinced to try a couple of weeks ago, and so far it is working well. I wouldn’t say VPS performance is outstanding, but for the price it’s a great value; support sounds quick and direct to the point guy.

Helloo james, they’re already around LET for like 2 months, also they already make some offering on LET before they got here. Still curious that we’re using VPN or something like that ?

I don’t read LET, in that case good for them, that they did quite a few sales there.
