Registered with them, but so far nothing came of it. Says the server is activating.

    • We indeed had to manually intervene in some orders to perform manual anti-fraud verification. It did delay server processing for some orders. Your order might have been among a low percentage of those. I apologize for the inconvenience.

what kind of ipv6 subnet will be allocated?

    January 24, 2018 @ 6:32 pm | Reply
    • We currently allocate 1 by 1 or in blocks of 50. Subnet allocation is not currently integrated into our existing control panel. Next version of the panel will support subnetting. It should be available in Q3 or Q4 this year.

so would you give 50 ipv6 after order with a ticket?

        January 26, 2018 @ 10:17 am | Reply
        • Yes. The process if fully automated. During the order process (or after), move the IPv6 count slider from 1 to 50 and your server will get 50 IPv6 IPs.

Ok day, ToS is a bit restrictive. No one really can touch Hetzner right now, unless location is an issue.

Registered from China. The IP allocated is in Czech. Payment is completed on a Russian platform, in Ukrainian currency UAH. Lucky I have a all-currency credit card.
Ping is above 380, which is acceptable considering the distance between eastern Europe and China, and most importantly, the killer price.
Addition of PayPal support is highly suggested for you guys in Vmium, or whatever you are actually with.

    January 26, 2018 @ 9:37 pm | Reply
    • Thanks for the feedback. We fully support/accept PayPal, but the minimum payment amount is $3.99. If your monthly cost is below $3.99, you can pay with other available methods – *coins, Webmoney, Yandex, Cards, Qiwi, Bank payments, Payeer, Interkassa, Robokassa.

Also, please be adviced that per multiple requests from our new customers, the minimum PayPal payment of $5 was lowed to $3.99. Those people paying with PayPal have more freedom to pay now.

After using for just one day, and read carefully the ToS, I decided to turn off auto renewal of my ordered VPS. Really disappointed. Low price doesn’t mean you could do whatever you want to your customers.

    January 27, 2018 @ 8:28 am | Reply
    • Thanks for the feedback. The nature of our TOS is to guide the customer, not to restrict. The price group and the market we are in did overtime dictate us to have a very comprehensive TOS.

You can pay with PayPal if the amount is above USD 3.99. Or you will need to pay through Webmoney, a REALLY OLD Russian pay platform since 1998.

    Is still available this option?

        April 20, 2018 @ 8:48 am | Reply
        • Hello Martin,

The promo is limited to a number of orders. What it means is that once old orders free up (with every service, there is a churn) new orders with promo can be placed.

          Thank you.

    • Hello Sergey,

I hope you are doing well. We do not have any orders which are unfulfilled. Some do require manual intervention because of a high level of fraud potential with our low prices.
Please email support@vmium.com if you need any help.

      Thanks.

VMium send you a welcome e-mail which includes your account password that you used when signing up for the service.

The payment system is suspicious as it asks for your credit card details twice. The first time it asks you for it and sends it back before you have even provided your name.

VMium send you an e-mail after your VPS is created. The e-mail includes your server’s root password.

VMium quote you one amount during signup but after payment you find a ‘3D Secure Payment’ card payment fee in addition to the quoted amount. You are advised of this fee before payment in an invoice e-mail that is generated during signup, but normal people don’t check their e-mail inbox during signup, except to verify their e-mail address, so this ‘3D Secure Payment’ fee is a hidden fee.

The newest Ubuntu you can choose for your server is Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, an operating system that will no longer be freely supported in 1 year from now.

My VPS was broken from the start. When I tried to access it using the virtual console, I got a looped error that VNC couldn’t connect.

VMium claims it has 24 hour support. It has now been 24 hours and I haven’t got a response.

VMium block ports, including port 25, so VMium is useless unless you are hosting a WordPress site about your stamp collection.

VMium lies about having an office in America. The address listed for the office comes up as VirtualPostMail.

VMium claims it is Bulgarian, but I believe it is Russian. English and Russian are the only two languages you can select in the website interface. Russian is derived from Bulgarian, so if you can understand one then you can understand much of the other and most foreigners can’t tell the difference. Also, the owners surname is Russian, and the terms of service are arrogant and heavy, just like most Russian internet companies.

    VMium will waste your time.
