LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

WelcomeHosting - KVM VPS's in Los Angeles - 6GB KVM VPS for just $9/mo & more!

It’s been a while since we heard from Brian at WelcomeHosting, however, they recently contacted us with some exclusive offers to share with the community this holiday season. They are offering KVM VPS services out of Los Angeles with some amazing discounts for our community. They are offering various different pricing structure options based on the plan, however, the most savings and value are to be had when choosing to pay using an annual billing cycle. For example, the 6GB KVM VPS is just $69/year when paid annually, instead of $9/mo!

Their WHOIS is public, and you can find their ToS/Legal Docs here. They accept PayPal, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum as payment methods.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Nowadays, it seems like it’s almost impossible to find a hosting company that understands its customers by their first name – not just another number. What’s one aspect about home that’s found nowhere else? Feeling comfortable and welcome — and that’s exactly the type of client experience we aspire to deliver here at WelcomeHosting. We offer plenty of different hosting solutions, and we’re always available to help you every step of the way. Welcome to a personalized and worry-free hosting experience!”

    • I purchased one of these deals which looks great. Fast to setup but the repository of software is 4 years old and extremely limited. The RDNS for IPs.. is not available by default. I am not sure if it is available at all.. that would be a problem for me. I do not want my mail rejected as spam

I bought a VPS with them a couple of months ago, and must say it’s one of the most reliable servers I have ever used. If anyone’s looking for a reliable VPS I can confidently recommend Welcomehosting.

Not for them, but windows 2012 and 2008 appear in my reinstall window. I assume you just provide a key.

    • Hi Tim,

You’re all set. Sorry about that, we were setting up new nodes due to the increase in demand from LEB. Everything is back to instant activation now.

      Thanks

It seems you are having problems with instant activation again. A bit disappointing honestly

  9. If I order one at the monthly rate (to try the service first) can I later renew for one year and still get whatever annual discount is in effect at that time?

@Brian at WelcomeHosting – Can you give us a 2GB VPS plan?

Got one of these 3GBs a couple days ago. I’m very pleased!
First time getting a KVM with literally 0 issues during setup. Network speeds seem good, and processing resources seem great!
Instant activation, does exactly what I want.

For those curious: Yes, you can install Windows!

Customer service is terrible. Takes DAYS to get a NON-response. Simple example: requested an additional IP on December 16th – six days ago – and the response, after all this time, is an escalation. “Our administration team will assist you further regarding this inquiry, as this request falls outside of the typical scope of work that technical support works with.” Seeing as adding an IP address is outside the scope of their technical support team, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at the multiple shutdowns, etc. Not all that much money to lose, but a huge Waste of time as well.

    Hi,

So I read feedbacks and found out that this is the only VPS that don’t have much negative feedbacks that fits my budget.
    I ordered 6GB KVM vps UBUNTU 16.04
Yeah they have old images, but I upgraded to 18.04 without any issue right after the order.

Activation was instant. Now my hard cpu/memory selenium app works really smooth even with all that selenium/java/gecko memory leaks and large allocated heap it still has 300mb memory free.

On previous VPS they did overselling and my app could not allocate required memory ocassionally. I don’t notice any issues on welcome hosting yet.

Once my server got suddenly powered off and I had to power it on back in solus VM. Dunno what it was, I wish my server could boot up automatically after any issues, hope I don’t experience that kind of problems in the future.

Anyway that’s really a good deal, it’s really fast, powerfull, connection is also good. Best deal I found for this price, hope the quality of service won’t get worser.

    Thanks
