Just bought a 1Gig VPS for $9/quarter, was instantly set up and I’m setting it up now. Will update everyone with my experience!

Purchased a 48 hours ago. Was not instantly set up. Submitted a support ticket 24 hours ago. Got an automated reply. Now I have a ticket in demanding a refund and believe the initial review was either paid-for or a shill. It’s $10, but you’re costing me money in the time it takes to get a CentOS VPS set up. The deal isn’t worth the wait to anyone. The fact that you a) have no automatic provisioning for your sales and b) have support that doesn’t act on high priority issues like this immediately shows that in the long run if you don’t get your act together you’re going to be going out of business.

Awesome awesome stuff! Consolidated both of my servers with hiformance over to a single VPS with Welcome Hosting, since Docker was not supported with HiF.

I ordered a 2GB plan, and was able to get my Docker environments set up in under 15 minutes. Haven’t a need to contact or interact with tech support so can’t comment on that yet, but really, everything works pretty straightforward.

Keep this up and you’ll have a customer for life!

Had a couple questions initially so I contacted them using the contact form on there site yesterday. Brian was helpful in clearing up all the questions I had in great detail, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 6GB plan not too long after the fact. Fast forward a day later I have everything set up, and moved over my apps from DO. I must say the performance boost is refreshing, and being able to work with a company that has a “mom and pop shop” feel is quite refreshing too. Thanks guys!

Stellar deals! Are these lifetime prices? And is the use case of VPN allowed?

Thanks in advance for your time!

    • Hi Josh,

No problem at all! Yes, the prices you see here are lifetime prices – they will never increase.

Setting this up as a VPN is perfectly OK!

      Thanks

Your mails land into spam and the provisioned server does not work. Bought your 4GB SSD Plan. Opened a ticket too.
This is one of the reasons I stay away fron new companies.

    • Hi GRV,

That’s interesting – I’d like to learn more about this so I can better check our mail server settings. Do me a favor and open a ticket with this please?

Also, within the client portal, you’ll see a section called “My Emails” – from there you can review all emails we’ve sent to you.

      Thanks
      Brian

Awesome company, and awesome deals. Brian and John was quick (and seemed very willing) to answer my questions this morning, and it felt nice to get that kind of support, even though I only spent $2 here. Performance is top notch. More power to you guys.

Thanks – went for the 1GB VPS, set up straight away and everything worked great. Modern kernel, docker support, easy to reinstall through control panel – no complaints here!

I purchased two of the “512MB SSD” VPSes with a CentOS 7 minimal install.

Currently they are unusable as no boot device could be found. The CD mount errors out, as with the network PXE and floppy.

I made a high priority support ticket to them, and will see if I receive a response from their “24/7” support team.

In less than 4 hours, I received a reply from “John Castro” asking permission to reinstall the OS.

We will see how long it takes to do so.

I’m slightly impressed as this is on a Saturday and within their “24/7” support.

Purchased 2x “512MB SSD” VPSes with a minimal CentOS 7 install.

Neither are able to find a boot device, rendering both VPSes unusable.

I placed a high priority support ticket with WelcomeHosting’s “24/7” support team.

I will likely be cancelling both VPSes if no response is given with 24 hours.

Getting a refund from them is quite impossible, and they don’t have any support available other than Castro. I requested a refund within 2 or 3 days of service, still no refund or reply from billing dept….Also my server was located somewhere other than I ordered I think also. They shut down my service after I REQUESTED the refund(Still no refund) so I can’t check that.

They are horrible. The internet speed is so slow that it is not possible to host a simple website. The processor is horrible, very slow. Give me back the money, thieves, I asked for a refund before 3 days.

I confirm – internet speed is my main complain. I could endure it until August, but now… oh man.
I can’t even host my personal VPN on it – VERY F@CKING SLOW.
