We offer a 3 day Money back guarantee on VPS services only. Refunds: If client has retained the services for one year and has pre-paid HiFormance for such services, refunds will be issued for up to 50%, upon client’s request. Therefore, if client’s account is cancelled 3 days after the start date during the one-year term, client may be entitled to a refund up to 50%. This may not include licenses, dedicated servers, upgrade fees, or setup fees.

If you don’t mind me asking, why up to 50% instead of prorated – pay for what was used, that way it’s fair to both the customer and yourself.

Prepaying gives you a huge discount, our policy prevents abuse such as using the service for only 1 month and taking advantage of the discount by getting refunded for 11 months.

      • Romeo:

Sorry, what? If the service is used for 1 month, what exactly is the problem with refunding for 11 months, which were unused anyway? I really cannot follow your line of thought here. The discount has nothing to do with the fact that you’re keeping money for services not provided just because.

        I just think you’re a crook.

I think he’s trying to prevent people who only want a VPS for 1-2 months for whatever (possibly illicit) purposes from just buying it for a year then cancelling.

        • HiFormance:

Maybe you shouldn’t look into prepaying for a service for a discounted rate if you’re not going to commit. Move along and just order our monthly package!

I think your assumption reveals your thought process. You think it’s upstanding business practice to charge people 50% of their prepaid amount if they cancel after any period of time past the trial period (which is pathetic at 3 days anyway), say when things go sour with your support department.

I still consider you a crook. Good luck with sales!

@Nick: I don’t think “prevent” is what he’s trying to do, he’s just a scumbag who wants free money. If for example after the “trial” period he moves my box to older, decrepit hardware or oversells the metal I’m on and I complain about reduced performance, he obviously won’t invest in a new node just for me. Therefore I’m stuck because I prepaid for 3 years. That’s my issue here, I don’t care about his fraud prevention methods. He offers the discount, I didn’t request it, and if the service doesn’t work out for some reason or another I shouldn’t feel like a convicted felon if I attempt to move to another provider.

Used their los Ángeles KVM bf deal and the disk speed were less than 1MBs read and write; clearly not ssd or severely oversold.

Same price is locked in :)

I paid for 3 years upfront, but there’s no place to select the perk for the promotion. I want double CPU for my VPS. How is this done?

Not sure, maybe do something like contact support@ rather than waiting for support on a third party website?

  7. Kaly:

If you had a bit higher bandwidth on one of your boxes for these prices… I’d get you in a heartbeat. 4tb is good but I’d probably feel better with 5-10tb.

How long have these guys been around? Seems like they only started this year, seems a bit sketchy to just sign up for 3 years without any history of their quality.

You do realise that pinging something is never a reliable way of testing if it’s up, don’t you?? Just because it doesn’t respond to ICMP…

We use little resources, but the server stability is important for us. Do you have automated scripts to power off/suspend abusers?

Yes stability is all, so do you have any automated scripts to power off/suspend abusers?
