I’ve bought a couple of HiFormance offers in 2018 January and Jule. There were a couple of downtime and slowness issues, but otherwise, until recently, I was satisfied with the service quality and tech support.

Except that, according to TOS, they do not refund money and do not guarantee anything. Which is illegal, actually. According to American Contract law, if you got prepaid money and then do not provide the service of the expected quality, that qualifies as material breach of the contract; and your complete “waiving” of the responsibility means:

    > The contract lacks consideration.
    >
    > Example: Tom promises to give $20 to Dan, but Dan does not have to do or give anything in return.

So I definitely advise HiFormance to hire a competent lawyer and correct their silly ToS, unless they want to be sued. You can’t just cross out “any responsibility” and think you are legally protected.

It doesn’t work this way. Besides, when you sell services to overseas customers (which you do), even stricter laws become applicable.

Secondly: two days ago both my VPS went out of order, unable to write files into tmp directories. I’m puzzled why – as I didn’t change anything, it was out of the blue – and there are many Gb of space still free, and not more than 16% of inodes are used.

    Seriously, how can that be?

And those guys haven’t repaired that yet, my tickets still are open.

I’m looking for another VPS provider, and if HiFormance won’t react in satisfactory manner, I sue their asses no matter their laughable ToS says.

Almost bought their VPS, thank you. Going with Heitzner – much better reputation.

HiFormance never ever again. I’d rather pay 3 times extra with other providers than deal with them ever again.
This is the first time where I had lots of problems using a service that LEB advertises and oh man I regret wasting my time dealing with their services.
If you ever want to buy something from them (specially anything VPS related) then good luck because you’re gonna need it.
I shouldn’t have ignored all the negative comments from previous HiFormance posts, because it simply shows that it’s not a personal problem but a lack of professionalism on their part.

    My experience with HiFormance:

Stable enough for the price. Do have storage problems often, 1-2 times per 3 months.
Have 4 VPSes, and happy with it. I mean come on, 8gb ram 4cores for $45/3 years is just incredible cheap, just dont think youll get a dedicated server with that kind of money.

What exactly is the Los Angeles Premium location? Is it better in all circumstances?

    Stay away from these scammers.

I paid for 3 years service. They just cancelled my VPS after 5 months. No explanation. I will contact my bank to charge back.

    HiFormance’s full of shit.
Don’t pay for 3 years, you’ll get your server cancelled after some months, not even near to those 3 years.

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
