Order page says either out of stock or

After creating an account, price comes up as $6 (512 MB) or $12 (1GB) instead of $4/8 for certain more exotic locations such as UAE, India or Korea. Why hasn’t this been mentioned in the offer?

I think I will pass on this one.

Their Korea and Hong Kong locations have good ping from China, since they are not using budget providers like Softlayer or Leaseweb. I was wondering how they can do $4 with those… Thanks for clearing it up ;)

    • Hello, you can clear your browser’s cache and try again. No errors to be found.
When no stock is specified on the location page.

Locations in Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and South America the base price is $6/mo VPS 512M and $12/mo VPS 1GB. For Europe and North America location the base price is $4/mo VPS 512M and $8/mo VPS 1G.

  2. Wouldn’t be a bad setup if

A> They handled the transaction professionally. Still waiting for them to mark the invoice paid here
B> Their signup page wasn’t so littered with mess . Try ordering directly, then signing up. Talk about a good deal of errors

Looks like a shop that just setup, and just cannot handle adverts right now:( . Focus on getting it done right, the first time.

    • Even better, it would be GREAT if those speedtest links actually worked :(

    • The invoice is updated after manual verification to prevent fraud. Upon confirmation the VPS is provisioned, usually in a few minutes or a few hours.

Can someone from VPSFast tell me about swap space? I’m assuming they’re Linux boxes, what is the standard swap space provisioned, 1:1? Is it VSwap space, or is it actual swap to the hard drive?

I’m not looking for any answer in particular, kind of new to all this and just looking for what the industry standard would be.

Do not even try. Network connection is limited to 100 kbit/sec and you cannot reach your vps 3-4 days per week!

  7. Peter:

I thought I’d add a comment here as I’ve had a linux custom EU located vps with these guys since Jan and have to say its been great. Sure the website is a little clunky in certain situations but as long as my vps is stable it could be in txt for all I care…

I paid with bitcoin and had no issues getting my invoice marked as paid and vps setup shortly after, have had no downtime that i can recall so far (this may vary with some of the more exotic locations) and response to a few tickets has been prompt.
Suits my needs and will be ordering a 2nd one soon!

I have server in Hong Kong which has download speed less than 200KB/s from Singapore. A 100MB file downloaded for 8 minutes!!
One week it was not accessible at all, now they claim it’s fixed but speed is still super low.
I paid for year, asked for refund but they ignore request.

They keep telling that they fixed but nothing change. I ask them directly to refund on which they reply “it fixed now” 4 times. Sold me absolutely not working server and does not want to return money!

    • Maksim:

After few weeks they stated: “The main server has 15mbps speed where many other users are also using the same network. With a VPs network speed is always shared to all users”.

In Hong Kong they share 15mbps between many users!

      April 21, 2017 @ 9:47 am | Reply
      • Hi @Maksim Our current HK node has a speed of 100mbps different from the first node we had in HK. I’m sure you did not open a ticket for billing department requesting refund otherwise you would have gotten it.

I looked over their web site, purchased a KVM in Russia, thinking it would be a good way to round out my DNS cluster. Heard nothing. They emailed me and said that they confirmed my payment (yes – I paid them) but Russia is a new offering and “it will be a few days.” I replied asking what they could offer instead and/or how many days will it really be? No response. If I don’t hear back tomorrow I[ll issue a chargeback with my CC company, what a pain.

    • Hi, VPS in Russia was available on the website only for pre-order, as of that month we have the node ready for provisioning.

  12. I bought the vpsfast Hong Kong server, first of all, the server bandwidth is simply not guaranteed, followed by the second month after I purchased, my server actually, was deleted! The Yes, it was deleted! The Vpsfast business reply speed is very slow, my old server data can not be restored, directly for a new server to me, and the new server is also very card, often inexplicable can not connect, I have no plans to renew , And do not intend to and vpsfast care about, because I will not use their services later

  13. Chris:

Don’t recommend. They are not scammers or anything like that. I just had a bunch of problems using their service for low-bandwidth VPNs.

    * Atlanta server was super slow
    * Buffalo server was either slow or stopped working as a VPN
    * Invoices were confusing, (month and day were reversed) so I opened up a ticket about it and they suspended my server because I paid 2 days late (technically “fair” but other services probably provide more of a “buffer”)
    * Some of the tickets were solved quickly, some took more back-and-forth than was needed.

The conclusion is that I had a lot less time-sucking problems with other services on here.
