Scott from BigScoots, a registered company in Florida, recently emailed in a fews offers; a year since they were last featured on LowEndBox!

Also available is a 256MB plan for $4 Month, which is listed on their dedicated LEB page. In 2011, BigScoots were featured four times and generally received positive feedback. Their website, featuring a large gentleman on a scooter, is pretty humorous.
Servers are with Steadfast in Chicago, Illinois. VPN/Proxies or legal Adult content is allowed; however IRC is only permitted on a case by case basis (so you better contact them if this is your intention). IPv6 is available on request.

Just wanted to let all of you fine folks know we are excited to be back featured on LEB. Be sure to shoot me an e-mail directly, stop by our live chat or drop us a call if we can do anything for you.
As a side note, all of our current LEB deals can be located at one place at: http://www.bigscoots.com/leb
Nice offer, I might try the monthly option
Be careful to read the terms of service on the $20 deal, it excludes virtually every service and daemon type. I was looking for a really low-resource VM to run ircd for a small private net on and this specifically excludes anything having to do with IRC(even clients.)
On the contrary, we allow most all IRC related activities. Our TOS states specifically they are not allowed, which all hosts should state given it can be so easily exploited. However, as stated in the offer above, we allow IRC related activities on a case-by-case basis.
Before deciding against us, I invite you to shoot me an e-mail, stop by our live chat or give us a ring. It is likely anything IRC wont be an issue.
Can you hook up 64/128 burst with 5 gig of disk for $10 per year?
Call it the “SEO Special”.
John_R,
If you are still interested go ahead and shoot me an email, justin@bigscoots.com

Agreed, looks like some real effort went into their site which is good.
Glad you guys enjoy it! It seemed to have been in development forever! :S
We have had a VPS with Bigscoots for many months now and can highly recommend them as their support is second to none. day or night you will always get a reply from Justin and sometimes Scott, with a very quick fix to any issue
You. Are. The. Man. :D
My first paid VPS, and it’s pretty awesome! Thanks for the deal!
Glad to have you on board Christopher, be sure to let us know if there is anything more we can do for you.
Bigscoots has been great thus far. Started on a shared plan and moved up to a VPS. All of the changes were very fast and their customer service is top notch. Scott and Justin are nice guys, very professional and know what they are doing.
Glad to have you with us! :D
Have to post, Justin is awesome.. got a newbie up and running!
Thanks again, regards from Aust.
Glad to have you on board Michael, be sure to check out our facebook/twitter for future deals ;)
@LEB “IPv6 is available on request.”, so I think that should be in the summary.
Note, IPv6 is totally free for any volume and available on all our services.
amazing service at bigscoots, I paid for a good vps and everything ($30+ with cpanel) and I ended up getting suspended due to someone ddosed at 3gbs and then terminated with a refund. But overall good service, but not DOS/DDOS protection.
Unfortunately someone seemed to have a vendetta out against you and I am sorry we were not able to combat them away. Generally speaking we have the network to support most attacks, but when someone can find upwards of 4GB/s to send your way, the only savior is a null route — which was done in a timely manor I might add (within 1-2 minutes if I recall), however your VPS of course remained offline. I appreciate your candid review, best of luck to you.
Although, you should look in to reverse proxys and if someone trys to dos the reverse proxy it auto null routes it, but if they just visit a site hosted using reverse proxy it just shows them the site.
Hi,
just a quick question.
Is the system clock going right? Had soo many VPS where the time was not set correctly and since I am going to use a mailserver a correct time setting is important.
Hi there, a valid concern, but yes sys clock is functioning properly :)
hi scott,
is central backup feature enabled in solusvm?
No it is not enabled automatically but we can give access for quick backups which will allow you to back up your whole VPS if that is your aim.
I have the 128mb box for a few weeks now, using it mostly as a vpn and it’s working really well. I had a few troubles and Justin has solved it in a couple minutes through the online chat, highly recommend!
Glad to have you on board Davi! :D
Bigscoots has been a great experience for me. I had tried another offer here on lowendbox.com but the support was not answering questions for many days on end so I gave up with them.
Bigscoots have responded very quickly and very helpfully to the questions which I had for them. The live site chat is great. The 128mb struggled to run centos for the site I was migrating but upgrading to 256m was quick and convenient. I have opted to get some backup space which is also very reasonable.
All in all I would highly recommend that folks go with BigScoots as they give a high quality experience for exceptional value.
Glad you’re enjoying yourself Simon! :D
