Anyhow, do you know if they allow minecraft or any other gaming servers to be hosted?

    • According to the TOS:

      -Disruption of neighboring customers
      -Services in arrears.
-Receiving verified complaints citing violations of the TOS or AUP.
-Sending, or becoming the target of, a DoS/DDoS attack.

Still no reply to my sales ticket I sent in a couple of days ago, Is this company really worth using if they can’t reply to two different tickets?

P.S my name is not Robbert, anyways I might as well ask the f***ing question here, Is it possible to have 9 IP’s per VPS?

        May 24, 2013 @ 8:31 am | Reply
        • VPSAce-Matt:

We have not received any emails from you. We handle dozens of tickets per day so this seems to be an isolated issue with you.

You can select 9 IP’s during the order process and they will be assigned to you upon deployment.

Not 100% sure what is going on but setup is definitely not instant. It’s been an hour now and still no VPS setup. At least until this point. Not even a welcome email, although the client area says my VPS is online.

    • VPSAce-Matt:

This is likely an issue with SolusVM and WHMCS. Please provide me with your email address (send it via our contact form: https://vpsace.com/contact.php) and I will send it out. We had a ton of orders which were setup automatically.

Submitted many hours ago and still no response. That’s a little troubling.

That said, I’m in the VPS regardless, getting the info I needed from the client area. It’s a pretty nice VPS, all told.

I’ve been with them for a couple of months, my support tickets have been answered within the hour and my VPS was setup instantly. This is an isolated issue, it would seem.

To all about avail these offers from VPS-Ace at LEB, please see this page where they have better offers:
    http://vpsace.com/blog/april-end-of-the-month-special-on-2-gb-and-4-gb-yearly-plans/

There, the 2GB plan is being offered for $60/year, and the 4GB plan is being offered for $80/year. Not sure why the LEB offers are less beneficial.

You did see that those promotions has expired?

      May 22, 2013 @ 10:37 am | Reply
      • VPSAce-Matt:

This was a limited time promotion in which we only accepted 10 clients, it wouldn’t be fit for LEB because it would be very limited and simply upset people.

What are the signup verification steps involved? Any Docusign hassles?

    May 22, 2013 @ 1:55 pm | Reply
    • VPSAce-Matt:

No DocUSign is required however any proxy/mismatch of IP’s are questioned.

  8. I ordered this LEB today and it was set up very fast. Credentials arrived within one minute, I logged in 15 minutes later. Debian minimal would be nice as this is the distribution I normally choose, but that’s no problem to use CentOS or standard Debian this time. You might guess why this offer was so hard to resist :)
The link above is a small temporary and static test project hosted at vpsace (172.245.9.2xx) at the moment (22.05.13)
Thanks and have a nice time, Matthias

Been running some test since last week in lieu of a replacement of my aging physical machine that I personnaly colo. Setup was instant, accessed the VPS within minutes. So far so good, speed is excellent, disk access is very fast and server responsivness is Aces! Tried out on 1 VPS to start with and now have 4 setted up, migrating my physical environment to the VPS in the next few days.

Personnaly thinking of grabing one or two other 2Gb VPS at that great price for future expansion before the promotion runs out.

Thanks Matt & VPSACE, you just saved me a bunch of dough each month :)

It’s been more than 12 hours since I have opened a ticket about a server lockout.
I haven’t had any response for my earlier ticket regarding VPN support either.

You need to have a better ticket managing system other than asking people to just email you
or even contact you from your contact us page.

Too bad you can’t sign up yearly. I hate monthly payments (if it’s a decent and reliable server, that is)

Decent and reliable server now, can go to utter crap in 3-6 months, and if you paid yearly, you can do nothing about it.

So one could say if a provider does not try to lock you in yearly, it’s a positive thing, they are really certain in their quality of service, after all they have keep the customers happy all the time, else they can just cancel next month.

I signed up to this package a week ago and everything is running fine. The VPS was setup and running within 10 minutes.
I have a Zimbra mail server, OpenVPN, Squid, Bind9 all running happily.
Had a small issue with the system time but after opening a ticket with VPS Ace it was promptly resolved(within an hour).
It’s a great offer and I would have no problem recommending it.
