I’ve been on the usual shared/VPS route for a while, and the gap to dedicated hardware always felt too wide. Seeing a $25 box, particularly with a Buffalo location, makes that leap look a lot more practical than I expected.
Dedicated hardware at that price usually means some kind of compromise, but for $25 it’s still hard to argue with the value. I’m curious whether the Buffalo location has any real latency advantage over the more common East Coast options for something like a game server or a small database instance.
