  2. Boy O Boy, Watch out. These are colocrossing servers and HVH support. Two combinations that scream “RUN”

What you can expect from their support is two canned answers in 2 hour succession, no matter what your questions is. Here is sample support conversation you can expect from HVH

Customer: How many hours are in a day?

HVH Support (15 mins later): We are actively reviewing your support ticket and will get back to you shortly

HVH Support (2 hours later): Problem Fixed. Please check now.

Customer: Did you even bother reading the ticket?

HVH Support (15 mins later): We are actively reviewing your support ticket and will get back to you shortly.

HVH Support (2 hours later): We apologize for the delay. Problem Fixed. Please check now.

    • Sorry to hear about your issues you may have faced in the past, our team does does a pretty good job for the prices we offer but of course as with any business we run into our issues as well related to hardware etc from time to time which can cause the support queue to become backed up. That is to be expected when you run a network and have the size of infrastructure that we do.

Please get in touch with me directly if there is anything else I can assist you with.

      • My Name:

I’m sorry but what do you mean “for the prices we offer” ? You hire people who have no clue because they’re okay with $1/hr or whatever it is you offer? That’s the wrong approach if you ask me.

    Couple questions:

    1) Does the bandwidth limit between servers count against you? I’m trying to experiment with cluster computing.
    2) Can you host OpenVZ images from http://turnkeylinux.org

    July 23, 2017 @ 12:30 am
    • Thanks for your interest in our services!

Yes bandwidth counts for traffic in and out on your system and we shouldn’t have any issues with that, just pop in a ticket and we’ll see what we can do :)

Signed up, waited, waited, and waited longer. Chatted with James who first advised that setups we instant. When I reconnected later and found myself chatting with James again, he then advised me that they ran out of server space and were commissioning a new server to hold the pending LEB promo signups. Inquired about ETA, none provided. Over 24 hours later, I check – still nothing. Chatted again, this time asking for a cancellation; Kyle informed me that he would “create a ticket”. Sorry – didn’t request a ticket, requested a cancellation, so I asked why a ticket was being made when I wanted my services cancelled; no response for over 40 minutes. Horrible experience – won’t be recommending or taking advantage of future specials by this “hosting provider”.

Sorry, most companies have limited sales/billing operations on weekends :)
