We do not offer dns servers on vps’s. Coupons are for the life of the service you order.

GameData Inc kept charging me after service was ended, and could not be cancelled since their billing CP was down. Contacted the BBB about it, and they never replied. Stay away.
As for the never replying, we have live chat almost always available.. So if you really want to talk to us by all means use the live chat system.
The only time we usually get a complaint about charging after cancelling is when people forget to cancel their paypal subscriptions. Is this what happened in your case? Either way, as mentioned above use our live chat to discuss further.

Yes the IP addresses are $1 currently. And as for the coupon it does work, you just have to order the right product. One code works for VPS1 and the other code works for VPS2.

Do you offer any kind of DDoS protection? What is your policy on Teamspeak/Mumble? I am looking for a server to host a Teamspeak from, and even tough we have never been DDoS I want to know my options before getting one.
We do allow teamspeak, and as for the ddos attacks the ip will be automatically null routed.
Do you guys allow the bit-torrent protocol? ;)
FEEDBACK: I dont like their service at all, they are the slowest vps that i knew of, worst is, Ive wasted my money investing on their service, worst is the time Ive allocated.
The lag time is so huge, if you are keeping a server hosted in their system, mind you, you will lost alot. its not even good at all to do business with them.

This is current, and is higher load than usual. We have very fast servers. If you were experiencing issues you should have contacted our support to allow us a chance to look into it.
From what I know of Wayne and GameData Inc. – he is a great guy and GameData Inc. is a bunch of great people. If you are having any problems with their service I’m sure they would be glad to help! Just like ‘D’ said, he asked and the answer was immediately there!

Are you sure they are greate guys? I sent them emails asking for my VPS (paid on 2 April) status and they never replied.
It’s 2 May now, and I don’t have VPS from them yet. I expected they would send me an email at least.
My refund request was declined by PayPal as the product is not a physical one.

We have live chat that is available “almost” all day! So if you have tried to reach us, you must not have tried very hard? I apologize for any inconveniences you feel you have experienced.. However as stated above, we are almost always in live chat.. So if you have any difficulties reaching us by support ticket, or support@gamedatainc.com, try Live chat which is available more often than not.
I ordered the VPS from them and they never honour it. I sent them an email for refund and they just keep silence and no refund at all.

Then why did you not file a “non receipt ” to PayPal.
I have done this with about three VPS providers in the past 2 years and have always got the charges reversed.
I am on #4 right now with PeakServers.
Thats odd you should say that.. Because we literally dont have the ability to just remain silent and not answer you! We are in live chat almost ALL DAY! So if you think you have contacted us properly via support ticket or support@gamedatainc.com and were not responded to fast enough then maybe try Live Chat. Which again is almost always online.

my vps with gamedatainc.com has been down all day. there main site gamedatainc.com is also down. there is no way to contact them i have no emails from them regarding any outages ect… at this time i prepayed for 2 years of service with them. and have no clue whats going on. any updates wayne?

Not only is the vps not available (STILL! — I have also prepaid for a year!), no updates are being shared, and they are not answering support mails.
It was a good host in the beginning (support was a little rude and not very helpful), fast bandwidth locally, and through most of the colocrossing/softlayer endpoints.
However, this outage has had major impact (days now). I would not recommend this provider. I am pulling the plug, and cutting my loss. I just wanted to share my very negative experience with fellow LEB’ers.

As for emails to support@gamedatainc.com CC wayne@gamedatainc.com because we have answered all emails in a timely fashion. If you are saying you have not gotten a response there may be an issue that we need to figure out. But you are the first one to report such a problem.
Unless of course you sent the emails while we were down, in which case it would make sense that we didnt get the emails.

I sent the emails out on the 9th and again on the 10th? as per the instructions posted here on the 8th… i submitted a contact you form today at the http://billing.gamedatainc.com/whmcs/ I cant even get loged in it dont reconise my username or password as a valid account. and tells me i must make a purchase to register. tho i made a purchase for 2 years of service back in march… i’m thinking i’m missing a step somewhere or somthing..
Per our conversations today, you are all setup. The issue ended up being live.com blocking our mails. I will look into that for future contacts.
Thanks again GameData, the issue was with my email service provider… (live.com sucks!!!) but yes I am back up running and VERY happy with the service. These things happen and some times its beyond anyone’s control to make a quick fix. That being said GameData has been the best experience Ive had with a VPS provider to date. Down times happen that’s why you keep current backups. And having an emergency backup plan in place allows you to keep your services up and get back up and running ASAP when things go awry. I will be continuing to recomend GameData to my friends and associates. And I am looking forward to working with GameData in the years to come. Thanks Again!!!!!
