Same person who ran ReverseHosts which had a ton of problems before being sold to HostUS.
What is your policy on legal torrents
careful; much like the dodo bird this brand may go extinct.
on a side note; why was Hassan aka ReverseHosts not mentioned in the post?
Same Question !!
While I am in no position to make excuses right now, I was put in a really bad position when CaliHop shot down with only a couple days notice. I was not in town and it was very difficult for me to get things going. I pumped a lot of money and time into RH before I was forced to shut it down.
Hostodo is completely different and there are plans in place for disaster recovery. Other providers, soon to be weekly backups, a lot more funding behind me. Hostodo is a registered LLC in Michigan under Odo Services LLC (paperwork was filed a couple days ago, things are still processing). This venture is much more serious and will not end like ReverseHosts.
If you were a prior client at ReverseHosts and you would like to send me an angry message to relieve some of stress I exerted on to you please feel free to send me an email because I probably deserve it: hbazzi@hostodo.com
I’ve been using the 2GB plan for a week now, everything is going great so far.
If anyone is interested to know.

carefull guys, this person is same person who run reversehosts.com which is shutdown my vps and refuse to refund!!!
Shit service, Only takes money, doesn’t refund or give service you’ve paid for.
I’m not sure if that 2GB RAM option was ever $5/mo as posted on here, but even if it was, it’s listed as $7 now. You have to use the code ‘LowEnd2G’ to get it down to $5/mo.
Rest is here:
http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/47145/hostodo-com-2g-ram-2-ips-5-mo-4g-ram-2-ips-7-mo-virtualizor-affliate-program-los-angeles
There is also an $18/yr 1GB RAM option on there that wasn’t posted here. (will they be around in a year? lol)
My bad, it does have the promo code here. But it doesn’t have the $18/yr variant. =p
too many bad review make me want to leave this thread and ignore the 2gb lol
I’ve had the 2gb plan for 2 weeks now, it’s great. Support is nice too. These guys that are complaining probably haven’t even bought a vps from hostodo yet.
I’ve had it for about, uh, 8 hours so far. I did have to file a support ticket for some IPv6 issues and to assign rDNS, IPv6 fixed and rDNS assigned within a couple hours, no problem.
I bought 2 vps’s on the day the offers were posted. Apart from a single issue which was dealt with in a polite and timely way, I have no concerns with the service so far. If they carry on as they have started then I for one will be perfectly happy. rDNS is done via a support ticket, but both my requests were actioned within a couple of hours, network bandwidth and cpu all seem fine so far. I would suggest they are well worth a try.
Its been days since i paid for the service, haven’t got a single response from them. Despite several tickets, emails. I would suggest you find another service.
Did they replied to your ticket yet?. and have you got fixed your issue?. How is services?.
I am planning to buy from them….
I am using it so far and very good service, very responsive. I used several vps accounts and they werent as good as this service quality. When you buy your virtual machine up and running in seconds, very fast response and everything works great. It is more than what you have paid.
No one is replying to the tickets.. Not happy..
I don’t leave many reviews, but i do have to say Hostodo is pretty legit. However,I havent needed to interact with Tech Support yet. I tend to hold my own. The CPU(s) could be better but im not running a (production)MC server on it or anything so it gets the job done! Uptime is good!! ++
I would say its a good service if you are learning or re-learning NiX
my vps is down since days now! i opened ticket and sent mails but no one is replying!
Have had an instance for third month but not really using it. Started configured for as standby setup yesterday. The control panel was weird, claiming the VPS was offline (or I am misunderstanding something) when I was logged in. Tried to configure another hostname in CP, it complained with an error but it looked like it saved it.
Rebooted the VM as root, but it never came up again. Tried Stop (succeeds), Start (fails), Reboot (succeeds), to no avail.
Now waiting for support to come back on a ticket (16 hours and waiting). Not sure I want to put my eggs in this basket any more. However they have been pretty quick getting back on two other tickets.
Back up. The control panel is still weird. It could be because I have upgraded to debian 8.
I got the problem — “status: offline” too, have you solved it?
not sure about the past challenges but we had a specific vision in mind for the vps and Hassan went above and beyond to help get a $12 a year account going. We have plans to expand and will do so with Hostodo.
I just oder 3 nodes in hostodo, and all the support / open ticket given resolved properly and responsibility …

I can confirm, their ticket system and customer support is awful. Sometimes it’ll glitch and duplicate messages. If you do eventually get a response it’ll be something vague like:
“Hi John,
Our admin will let you know the details.
Best Regards,
C Paul”
And you’ll get no followup messages. I currently have a ticket open that’s been around for a month without being resolved.
As the guy above, I also can confirm that the customer support is terrible.
I would not be being honest if I say that I cannot recommend Hostodo.
Overall VPS’s performance and the link throughput are good. But, I just not recommend for any production service, because when you need support, You will need to be VERY VERY patient.
Lol, many bad reviews for this provider! I think you need focus quality more than cheap price! @_@
Good good
I have had a support ticket open with these guys for over 2 months with no resolve. they said i would get a refund around 3 weeks ago and have ignored me for the past 2.
i would never ever recommend this service to anybody. i feel like i have been very patient and they are just having a laugh at my expense.
