Bought a 1GB VPS. Let’s see how it goes
Thanks, Kris – appreciated.
Brad,
Can I request for Win Server 2008 R2 instead of the Win 2016? Thanks.
We can mount any ISO of your choice to any KVM VPS plan, just provide our support department with a DL link to it.
Huge props to their customer service. Had a few questions I needed clarified before ordering and got a response in 8 MINUTES!
We are now testing the VPS before migrating our other 150 instances with Vultr. Half of that migration won’t be fun on my side as some of them are on DirectAdmin and some even without a control panel but it’s worth the cost savings.
Thank you if there’s anything we can help you with just let us know.
Hi Megazonehosting,
Question: IPv6 with KVM VPS?
/64?
Thanks for Info
Not natively by default but you can set up a IPv6 tunnel fairly easily.
Sorry, wrong :-/
Interesting reseller offers – pretty good value as it comes with a dedicated IP. Do y’all optimize your servers with CloudLinux?
Yes we run our reseller hosting servers with CloudLinux to provide optimized and quick performance for everyone. We also use LiteSpeed Web Server to greatly increase performance.
Got a 4 GB KVM plan since I plan on running some applications within dockerized environments. So far so good, and the ping times to where I’m at (michigan) is very good.
First impression 10/10, but will update every two weeks with my experience. Thank you LEB!
Good choice, David thanks so much.
Are your (shared hosting) offers recurring?
Yes recurring prices
Do your reseller hosting support SSH?
Yes, SSH access can be enabled on a per-account basis for $1 per year. Please raise a ticket to have this enabled
I just purchased a small shared hosting to use the email option for a domain of mine.
The problem is the DNS is all over the place and not set up at all correctly on the shared hosting option.
I’ve pinged the CS but we’ll see how it goes.
I heard this was all resolved for you, we just had to enable a feature in cPanel for you to be able to manage your DNS. This has also been corrected globally. Thank you and please feel free to contact us if you need anything else, we are available 24×7.
I’m getting only about 1-2MB per second on the Chicago network test. Anyone else having a better experience?
Yea, I have a Chicago VPS. I think their actual servers are faster than the test servers (understandably). I will run a benchmark for you on my server now.
Ccin, Our file test servers are on a separated network in the datacenter to avoid saturation to the main network. Speeds will fluctuate on the test server, based on the amount of users testing and pulling downloads. It is only meant to give you a generic idea. Our network in Chicago consists of GTT and SCNET in the network blend.
Thank you for sharing the benchmark Albert.
Also we have a 48 hour money back guarantee if you’d like to try out our VPS for yourself :-)
@ccin
Here is a quick vps bench I just ran for you. Maxing 81 MB/s to Dallas (which is around 800Mbps)

Thank you again for sharing this Albert it’s appreciated.
Bought a reseller acct 150GB. Brad and his team have been exceedingly helpful with migration assistance for a Friday evening, which I do appreciate greatly.
Thank you Shane I really appreciate it!
Shout out to Scott from Megazone’s support for going the extra mile tonite and for answering my tickets so quickly, especially on a weekend! Much respect <3
Passed this comment to Scott and he said anytime :)
Thank you very much.
May i know is IRC server allowed (small/private use)?
Interested to buy a few VPS
Tried to get OVZ server to use it as VPN. Ping from Europe is 200ms average, speed is limited by my ISP rate plan, so everything’s pretty good and fast.
However, they’re based on OVH (at least IP detected as OVH server), so if you’re going to use this server as VPN, probably it’s not the best solution cause many service are banning OVH addresses.
We do not use OVH. You might be looking at the wrong IP.
Can you provide information about:
I/O Usage, IOPS Limit, Entry Processes Limit?
WHM-Reseller-150GB
For Shared/Reseller hosting:
Any DDoS protection? and specs?
Thanks.
Tak, I believe I answered your email about this the other day but just so everyone has the information too, yes our shared/reseller hosting servers are under always-on DDoS protection of 10Gbps spec, with additional capacity available on-demand if needed.
Can I install and use ffmpeg on the servers?
You can certainly do this on a VPS plan
Allowed vpn on OVZ?
Yes, VPN is allowed
Be aware that they kill processes with certain names on their OpenVZ boxes:
root@box:/tmp# cp /bin/bash transmission-daemon
root@box:/tmp# ./transmission-daemon
root@box:/tmp# Killed
Their ToS only prohibits copyright infringement, but they proactively kill transmission…
While torrents are not allowed on our OpenVZ VPS, they are allowed on our KVM VPS plans here. Feel free to contact us and we can assist you in transitioning you over to a KVM VPS.
can Windows Server 2008 R2 be provided instead of Win 2012?
can windows server 2008 R2 be provided instead of Win 2012?
If you provide a ISO we can mount it for you on any KVM VPS package.
ON the KVM 4GB how much would it cost to increase the ssd to 100gb? I am looking to design a 1 click deployment for https://github.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver-docker. There is high demand for this Bitpay free, decentralized alternative.
What is the different between Shared (host 5 domains) compare to Reseller Account? Is this Shared (host 5 domains) also come with WHM?
The activation is not instantaneous after payment. I hope the service is satisfactory.
All sorted out by now, hope you’re enjoying your services!
Support is really slow!!!!
Toy, Support is 24×7 and very fast, but sales like most companies is not 24×7 and is only staffed during normal operation hours. We answered your sales ticket within normal business hours as promised.
In fact, our average response time for technical support tickets is under 15 minutes.
