  7. I’ve had good luck with RamNode. In the last 10 days I’ve burned about 2tb bandwidth on a tor relay, and Nick_A hasn’t complained once! It is one of the better, more consistent networks I’ve used to receive traffic from Europe. What I’d like to see next is more storage on offer. It’s already generous, but each time you upgrade to double ram (128, 256, 512) you receive less than 2x space.

42% off code is the highest I’ve seen. It’s a shame that it only applies to new orders. Furthermore, greater discounts are offered if you order quarterly, semi-yearly, or yearly billing periods. If you order yearly, the discount would exceed 50% off the list price.

Thank you to everyone who clicked my name and used my affiliate link :) It has been great fun. Keep up the good work, Nick!

        • The parentheses specifically exclude tor exit nodes from the list of allowed items. Not only did you miss reading that part, but also thought it was a list of forbidden items.

It took me a second figure out what you were on about. No problem! Besides, Nick knows me.

Since this afternoon there is a undersea fiber cut on a large London circuit. London is location that connects the US and EU together, so that’s probably the reason why you are facing speed issues. A lot of large carriers are affected by this fiber cut.

Purchased a 512MB OpenVZ SSD-Cached VPS yesterday for the Seattle location from an older RamNode offering here on LEB. These new offers today are a bit cheaper but so far I am satisfied with the VPS and not worth quibbling over a few cents in price difference. Both disk and network speed are great and superior to other VPS providers I have used.

  34. I have never considered OpenVZ vps from any vendor. RAMNODE is the only vendor that have earned my trust. VPS boxes are fast, great network/location and Nick provides great support. RAMNODE team sure know what they’re doing. Keep them coming Nick! Cheers.

  39. I’ve always wanted to try “ramnode” for ages, but this new deal plus what i heard from ‘aMunster’ about the % discounts %.

    512MB [SSD] (09/28/2013 – 12/27/2013)
    Operating System: Debian 7.0 32-bit
    Location: Atlanta
Extra IP Address: 1 Extra IPv4 Address $26.33 USD
    Promotional Code: NOWAY42 – 42.00% Recurring Discount $-11.06 USD
    Recurring Amount: $15.27 USD
    Billing Cycle: Quarterly

PRICE WAS UNDER $16 for 3 months and 2 ips! [1 included]…not bad!

I’m extra happy and hope to grow with this company in the near future for my VPS needs.

for now this is going to be my test server for what ever i might need.
I haven’t done tests yet but seeing how everyone is pleased with their server + SSD i will do the tests another time, right now i am going to work, and hopefully i can play with the server a bit via-mobile.

    Thanks for the discount!
if i like the service i will expand my VPS servers,
I do have a question (if not answered here i will open a ticket eventually)

lets say in 3 months i want to renew, will i still get the discount?
    and
how long is these deals for?
I want to order more in a few months but not sure when this deal will last.
and if i buy a 2nd server after a few days/weeks/months will i no longer be eligible for the discounts? (i was gonna buy 2-3 VPS at once, but i need to feel okay with my 1st one before i spend more money)

Thanks for reading & the discounts! I <3 LEB

    • I’m glad you found the information helpful! Thank you for clicking my name and using my affiliate link :)

The discount codes are valid as long as the vps exists. Renewing will be at the same price. The 42% off code might not be available for new orders after a few weeks or months. There is a 35% off code floating around (LEB35) that does not ever seem to go away. As of this post the 42% discount code (NOWAY42) is still active.

To clarify my earlier explanation: Quarterly billing is 3% less than monthly, semi-yearly billing is 5%, and yearly billing is 10% less than monthly billing.

I love RamNode. Currently on the 512MB Cached OvZ. Think I paid for 6 months with their 38% code. Well worth every penny.

I use it as a SSH tunnel to get around the company’s poorly done firewall, and since there is generous disk space it makes a nice OwnCloud instance.

As my old VPS for testing was terminated (VPSCorner) I got myself a new one. Machine is up, the only problem I had that my perfectly valid phone number was not accepted with your system so I had to enter my not valid phone number :)

Let’s see how it goes. 1Y 256 OpenVZ

Hi Nick, the coupon doesn’t work at all. I’m trying to get the Seattle OpenVZ SSD plan with 1024MB of Ram with DDoS. Anything to do with the selection? I’ve selected no extra IPs, just the 2 that came with it.

    • Looks like they didn’t post that the coupon was only good for 10 days from the original post date. We do have a 38% coupon “38rly” that you can use if you’d like.

Excellent, onest and rofessional service. I did make a wrong order of OpenVS while I needed KVM (tired night). I asked for a refund and cancelation, it too 10 seconds. They did not even ask if I want to use the credit on KVM servers; just refunded. GREAT !

Because I’m from South Africa, I tried buying and got flagged as FRAUD by MAXMIND. I tried explaining and got this response

“Sorry, you will need to host elsewhere.

    Regards,

SUCKS BIG TIME, AS I HAVE NEVER EVER GOT A RESPONSE LIKE THIS BEFORE. The Hosting service looks VERY GOOD by the comments, by this guys answer, IS A NO GO in my book
