Matt from securedspeed.com sent an email asking LEB to publish their latest promo code for their services.
Securedspeed.com was registered in 2011 but the story goes back a few more years then that. 2009 two web developers decides to use their own servers for web clients and 2 years later they decide to make their services available to the public.
They have been featured here before and the comments show good review for their services. This time however, its time for OpenVZ/SolusVM in QuadraNET, Los Angeles CA. Previous offers has been in PhoenixNAP, Phoenix AZ.
These are the packages available:
VPSTWO OpenVZ
$3.90/month – Order Link | VPSTHREE OpenVZ
$5.40/month – Order Link |
Payment with either PayPal, Bill Me Later, Debit or Credit Card
Test IP and File: http://173.254.231.3/100mb.test
Fun facts about this provider;
- They have a mobile app (android) where you can monitor your VPS regarding status, bandwidth, disk, memory. And of course you can boot, restart or even shutdown your VPS.
- They have been mentioned in the thread about 2012-Q1 top providers over at LET.

As I said on the linked 2012-Q1 top providers already, it’s a really nice provider! Servers are very fast, I’m happy :)
(But thanks for linking)

You should note, that they’re offering IPv6 know, too.
Thanks Amfy. We are also huge fans of the new hardware and network in LA. We are happy that you are enjoying it as well :)
I have been using their service over 4 months now. I should say, their service is phenomenal. After suffering from uptime and service issues with various providers in the past, I came to know of them last christmas through LEB. If you are okay with OpenVZ, you can just close your eyes and sign up with them.
I don’t know how they do it but they provide the best customer support I have ever seen. IIRC, a few months back, they moved from Phoenix DC to LA, I was quite surprised how they worked out every detail in the transition process. It was very smooth and thanks to them, now I enjoy the benefits of new DC.
Thanks dg51. It’s great to know that our hard work pays off with a great user experience :)
Just signed up for one of these… Connectivity to South Australia is very good via VOCUS.
By the way shouldn’t payment method just say “PayPal”? It’s named “PayPal, Bill Me Later, Debit or Credit Card” on the invoice but the only real option there is PayPal. Or did I miss something?
Cheers
Before you get the official response, here is a quick reply. Paypal is the payment gateway they use. You don’t need to have a Paypal account. I personally don’t like monthly subscriptions, so I pay by credit card as and when the invoice is generated.
Hope this helps.
I tried to respond but I think my comment got held in moderation. dg51 is correct tho. PayPal handles the transactions but a PayPal account is not required. You can choose to pay directly with a credit or debit card if you would like.
Yes fair enough. Main point for some people I guess is simply that you cannot avoid PayPal.
Just signed up and was provisioned instantly. Definitely impressed so far.
More stock is available now. Enjoy :)
Can I know the cpu specs for this plan? Thanks
Hello Yomero. Dual core Xeon.
Ty :P
Their fraud prevention is quite good. I just got denied for signing up with my US address registered with paypal (currently in Japan). Any help Matt? Just submitted a ticket via your control panel.
Taken care of :)
Recently set up a small system from Australia. Great ping times, and the company itself makes the process very quick and painless.
Thanks Neil :)
Hi all, I am from Johor, Malaysia. I have one VPS from SecuredSpeed. I get the best ping result compare to all service provider around LEB. Is that promo will continue for the next billing cycle?
Thanks Azmi. Our network is known to have excellent connectivity throughout Asia and I am glad that it is working so well for you :).
