LEA (LowEndAdmin) is the original founder of LowEndBox and the visionary who gave rise to an entire movement around minimalist, efficient hosting. In 2008, LEA launched LowEndBox with a simple but powerful idea: that it was possible to run meaningful applications, web servers, VPNs, mail servers, and more – on small, low-cost virtual machines with minimal resources.
At a time when most infrastructure discussions were dominated by high-end servers and enterprise platforms, LEA championed the opposite approach: lightweight Linux distros, self-managed servers, open source software, and thoughtful optimization. This philosophy gave birth to the term “Low End Box”, which would come to define a new genre of hosting tailored to developers, tinkerers, and budget-conscious users around the world.
Through LowEndBox and its companion forum, LowEndTalk, LEA built the foundation for what would become one of the most active and enduring communities in the hosting world, prioritizing knowledge-sharing, transparency, and accessibility.
After several years of nurturing the site and community, LEA stepped away from active involvement, passing the torch to a new generation of admins, contributors, and moderators. Today, LEA remains a respected figure in the LowEnd ecosystem, credited with launching a platform and philosophy that continues to influence thousands of infrastructure providers and users globally.
LowEndBox’s legacy, and its thriving community, is a direct result of LEA’s original vision.
30 IP addresses as a addon, wtf.
According to the addon pricing the IP addresses cost about 0.5 Euro each, so my question is, why not make it 1 IP address and a 2.99 Euro price on the package instead? Who the fsck is going to use 3 IP addresses, let alone 30? :/

This is how we’ve set out our business from the start, we have a lot of customers that use their containers for web hosting purposes and we feel that providing 3 IP addresses for clients makes it easier. We’re not trying to be a budget provider providing everything for nothing. We’re simply trying to be a low cost provider where you get what you pay for, and more :-)

Hey guys,
I’d just like to point out that the free Plesk 10 domain license isn’t valid on the UV-PLAN0 unless you pre-pay for at least 6 months. Other than that, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch via Live Support or through the helpdesk :-)

Oops, forgot to add also that the BLACK-FRIDAY coupon is valid until Monday 29th October at midnight (GMT) and the LEB-1EUR coupon is valid until the end of the year where we’ll celebrate the new year with a bit of a bang ;-)
Bret
November probably.
Ah! November, yes :-) It’s been a busy day!

@Bret i have bad experience with urgent VPS. i lost alot because of downtime (frequently changing Data Centers)
my first 2 months was great, but afterwards i faced alot of problems. like my tickets was closed without any reply. i submit a very high priority ticket that was replied after 3 or 4 days.
whats your data center now ? and to be honest m little reluctant this time because of my past experience.
Hi Erslan,
First off a massive apology for the way things were beforehand with our previous datacenter(s) but we’re now in the Interwerk datacenter in Frankfurt, Germany where we have been now since the last move and we’ve had nothing but compliments in regards to our network performance so I think we’re in the right place now. In regards to your reluctance, if you do choose to order, I will offer a small token of appreciation in return for giving us another chance. Again, apologies for your previous experiences with us, but we’re now in a much better place than we were a few months ago so please, give us another try! :-)
Regards
Is this 1 euro off only supposed to be just for the first month?
I was all ready to sign up thinking it was going to be recurring, but
forget it if its only 1 month ;0
It’s a recurring coupon, it was set up differently from an old ad we had run. Apologies, it should all be running now :-)
Extremely bad experience with urgentVPS in the past. Frequent reboots of main node, expired control panel SSL certificate (some strange Russian Virtuoso license), fast but arrogant support – guys not willing to return money back. Never ever jump into the same river…
Hi John, sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. Could I possibly get your e-mail / ticket numbers so I can see these issues for myself, since I haven’t experienced any of the problems you’ve noted since I’ve been here. In regards to your last comment of not willing to return money, please be sure to read the ToS completely before signing up with us since it does state where we stand on refunds. If you do choose to come back to us (as I believe you were with the company a long, long time ago before countless changes were made) please let me know and I will provide you with a small token of goodwill.
Regards
Just as a bonus, due to the high demand of the BLACK-FRIDAY coupon we’ve extended it until the 8th of December :-)
Would it be possible to know a test ip?
I’d be interested as i’m looking for a cheap vps with more than 1 IP :)
do not buy you are going to be offline and no money back, no response from support
