LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

AboveClouds - $3.46 512MB/1GB RAM/10GB SSD OpenVZ Cloud - in Coventry, UK

Today I’d like to introduce you to AboveClouds, a new offering brought to us by a long time community member at LowEndTalk by the name of Jacob. AboveClouds is a registered business in the UK with registration number 09779287. The reason I’m a little excited to post this is because this is a new entry in LEB as a cloud service. That basically means easy scaling, hourly billing, and self service provisioning. Just for you guys, Jacob adjusted the minimum deposit required to £2.50 ($3.73 USD).

Much like other cloud offerings, your payment is a deposit into your account and you can then use it as you see fit. Because of the nature of this kind of setup, there is not a direct order link for each package. You sign up, make a deposit, and then create the server that fits your needs. I realize that isn’t traditional here, but I didn’t see this as a solid reason to hold back this offer from you. So let’s jump into this:

The Offers:

– 512MB RAM
– 1024MB Swap
– 1x vCPU
– 10GB SSD space
– 1TB transfer
– 1Gbps uplink
– 1x IPv4
– /64 IPv6
– OpenVZ/Custom Control Panel
– Coupon: 25OFFLIFETIME

– £2.32 per month ($3.46 USD)

– 1024MB RAM
– 2048MB Swap
– 1x vCPU
– 20GB SSD space
– 2TB transfer
– 1Gbps uplink
– 1x IPv4
– /64 IPv6
– OpenVZ/Custom Control Panel
– Coupon: 25OFFLIFETIME
– £0.004 per hour
– £2.88 per month ($4.29 USD)

    • @Felix,
IRC is allowed as long as you don’t attract unwanted attention :)

      Best regards,
      Jacob.

  5. Do you have API to create/destroy vps?

    December 31, 2015 @ 4:30 am | Reply
    • Hey Lucky,
There is an API to manage your VPS (Stop/Start/Restart), create/destroy/reinstall functions haven’t been added into the API yet.. this should be done within the next week.

We’re constantly adding new features to the control panel, but unfortunately developing and testing features is awfully time consuming.

      Regards,
      Jacob.

  6. Reselling from other vps providers for some time now and trying
out Jacob’s offer for a few days makes me very happy.

Deposit some money, deploy an instance and whoosh it’s there.

Network does almost the whole gigabit, stress-ng test plays
    nice and bonnie++ is a ++11!

For now and for me Jacob offers the best value for money.

Hi Jacob, Are the instance IPV4 addresses dynamic or can static addresses be reserved? By the way your looking glass link doesn’t appear to be working.
    Cheers.

    • Hey,
IPs can be dynamic or static, entirely up to you – Both are available at no additional cost.

First additional IPV4 is free, anything after the first additional IPV4 is £0.002 / hour.

Looks like Jacob is no Jacob or has Chinese worker drones
configuring his vps’s. And no this is not a disgruntled
customer. I just stumbled upon some strange artifacts on
one of his vps’s pointing to ssh keys imported from a
    Chinese server while installing.

Don’t get to a point where you need to reload your account. Several emails a day and it never EVER stops!!! Crazy and I ahev shut my server purely because of this. No ammount emails to Tech stopped it either.
