BigFootServers - VPS Pools in Los Angeles & Dallas starting at 2 VPS for $19/year! (2-MONTHS FREE)

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the team over at BigFootServers, however, they have recently contacted us with some compelling offers on their VPS instance pools! A couple months ago, they’ve expanded to Dallas, and at the moment, are giving customers access to create VPS’s in Los Angeles and Dallas. We were told that as they continue to expand and add additional regions, existing customers will be able to get access to them within their resource pool at no additional charge.

Their WHOIS is public, and you can find their ToS/Legal Docs here. They accept PayPal, Credit Cards and Bitcoin as payment methods.

Here’s what they had to say:

“BigFootServers was founded when we saw a need for a simpler solution for small businesses to get started online. Our service-first business model sets us apart from the rest. At BigFootServers, we treat you with the utmost respect that you deserve, as our valued customer.

We provide a wide variety of different web hosting services to fit everyone’s budget. The solutions we provide are unique (in a good way), because they put you in control over your resources and environment, unlike conventional hosting solutions. These are unlike your traditional & conventional hosting solutions, because the services we’re providing here put you in control.”

** 2 MONTHS FREE for every order placed if you mention you are a reader from LEB! Terms: Must order before 11/14/2018 to claim this bonus. Must open a support ticket to the billing department after you have finished your order to request your due date be extended by 2 months. **

Bought a 2x VPS pool plan. Pre-sales experience was very responsive to answer questions. After ordering, they quickly applied the 2 months free at my request (thanks LEB for that!)

Now, I’m all set up with an instance in LA and one in Dallas. The VPS is rather snappy, I must say. Pleased with the service so far!

Could I get more storage on the 19$ plan if I go lower on the RAM, like 1 gig instead of 2?

  6. Eric:

Had a lot of issues with downtime and VMs intermittently not booting recently. Client area and control panel are down a lot. Put in a ticket. Only been there a couple weeks so I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

Update to ticket: BigFootHosting closed it automatically but did not fix it yet. Their response to the ticket about downtime:

      “Hi,

We are working on this problem. It will be resolved soon.

      Thank you,”

I’ve updated it saying the problem still exists and has existed for the over 5 days that ticket was open.

      On their webpage it says:

“By trusting us with your business needs, we promise you a 99.9% uptime on any services we provide, outside of any standard maintenance we may provide. ”

So I’ll also update you guys of any hassles I get requesting a refund if it comes to that.

I purchased the 3 IP VPS pool. I only created two VPSs with 1GB and 2GB memory. Neither VPS is usable. The GUI I installed Virtualmin takes over a minute to load. With no websites hosted, the MYSQL server is going down. This host, obviously, grossly oversells. I’ll cancel and chalk this up to experience – Wait for more reviews on LEB BEFORE purchasing anything!

Horrible uptime. I have Virmach, Umax, and ServerMania and Bigfoot is down at least once a week (often every 2 days), and when the VPS is down, it’s down for 2-4 hours (not just a quick reboot). The other providers are rarely down over 3 months or even 1 year.
Please do not feature Bigfoot anymore on a quality site like LowEndBox.

  11. Terrible service. I noticed 1 of 3 of my VPS was down and went to their site to check. It’s also down. I tried them last year and had the same problem. Great price but definitely not worth it.
