ServerMania have been around for 10 years, they previously operated under the B2Net Solutions brand. These offers are hosted on host nodes with dual hexa core Xeon E5-2620v2 CPUs, 128GB DDR3 RAM, 6x 2TB hard drives in RAID10, and 2x 240GB SSD drives to provide SSD chaching! Reviews on their last offer were positive, though there were not too many reviews. If you’re a customer, or become one, please leave a review below! ServerMania is legally registered as a corporation in Ontario, Canada.

ServerMania accept payments via Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. They offer a 100% network uptime guarantee and a 100% power uptime guarantee. From my experience, most providers usually offer one or the other, so it’s nice to see both 100% for both! Additional IPv4 addresses are charged at $3/month. Their IP addresses are assigned from their own ARIN allocation. They do not offer any money back guarantee or refunds. As usual, have a read of their Terms of Service and their Acceptable Use Policy before signing up. ServerMania offers 24 hour support via +1 716-745-HOST and through our custom Control Panel https://shp.servermania.com.

B2Net Solutions ruined my taste for this company a while ago with their customer support and billing… Won’t be touching it this time around either.

Best of luck to them with this offer, though.

    • Our company has gone under intensive restructuring with an entirely new team since the B2Net days. I’m sure you would be impressed if you return to Server Mania. Please send us a note via email sales@servermania.com if you wish to come back and give us a try.

Is it true that I have to provide a copy of my photo ID in order to sign up?

You get what you pay for.

In the last 2 weeks, the host has been ‘Rebooted’ (As they claim) 3 times, Statistics charts show a 2 hour outage. Bloody long reboot time if you ask me.

Cheap, but you will not get 100% uptime.

Just tried to sign up for Server Mania. Did not take there special but paid full price for a VPS at $44 per month.

They wanted a copy of the D/L and credit card sent online to a docusigning server for a $44 a month bill !

What, am I getting a mortgage loan ? Ridiculous.

    Looking elsewhere on LowEndBox.com .

Stay away from them! I just paid for the regular priced 19$/month windows host and after not receiving anything, i contacted their support only to be told i need to send them my national ID along with a recent photo.

Jeez, i am just buying hosting you creeps. This is a serious breach of my privacy and i seriously wonder what they do with these photos then. Their response was that all hosting services ask for identification which is such a load of bollocks, i can name 10 different hosts right now that i have used and none have asked for anything.

Buy from them if you are okay with some creepers staring at your photos and knowing your home address, i am NOT. I like to keep myself and my kids safe. Why are they even on lowendbox.

  16. They are a gang.

I bought to them 6 VPS, 3 with an account and 3 with another (backups)

After few “abuse” problems and all VPS full stop (my clients were so happy…), i found a VPS resetted by default (all data erased).

When I ask about it, they told me that 5 of 6 RAID disks were broken at the same time:

In terms of probability of failure over the life of the array (3 years):
    RAID0 – 10.5%
    RAID5 – 0.000105%
    RAID10 – 0.0000525%
    RAID6 – 0.00000000000105%

I think backups VPS were in another Rack, because it was bought with another account for that reason.

What a surprise, I found that all VPS data was lost but nobody told me until i asked for that (including all clients backups, of course).

I lost all my clients data (I’ve got phisical backups, but old) and they offered me 3 usd to compensate the damages, so funny.

Now think yourself if they are professional people :)

  18. I bought the deal immediately before this, which was a linux offer with 2GN RAM. I was initially satisfied, then 2 problems ocurred and on the 2nd issue I am still S.O.L.

3 of my 4 IP addresses with “unplugged” before I even had a chance to use them, though they inititally could be pinged. I wish I still had the name of the tech (in chat) who immediately fixed this. Not so lucky afterward! All 4 are gone now, I’m told they’re properly routed but no dice. then a tech offers to reload my OS for me.

I CAN EASILY DO THIS FROM THE CONTROL PANEl.

I still can access all commands by creating a ssh session in the control panel, but I can’t download any files. Although the tech who offered to reload did ask if I wanted any files saved, now I’ve been stiff armed and given no coice but to trash everything. Any place else i would have has some way to acces my files.

I’m hoping someone will read this at Server Mania and decide on a policy that will leverage this introductory offer rather than to alienate a potential new customer who already is happy elesewhere.
