This is a shared gigabit port with a fair-use policy attached. If your plan is to saturate it 24/7, read the AUP first and then go buy a dedicated server instead. If your plan is to run a few sites, a Mastodon instance, a game server, some CI runners, or a backup target, you will never think about the limit again.

The pricing scales cleanly, which is unusual — most limited-stock promos load all the value into one tier and use the others as decoys. That single-core number is the one worth dwelling on. 3011 in Geekbench 6 is genuinely fast silicon — it’s the kind of per-core performance that makes a difference on the single-threaded workloads most low-end boxes actually run: PHP, database queries, build steps, and compile jobs. Plenty of “Ryzen VPS” offers in this price bracket are running older Zen generations at lower clocks. This one isn’t.

Who These Are For

The 2GB is a great control node, monitoring box, VPN endpoint, Docker sandbox, or personal Git host — and at $1.92/month it’s cheap enough to buy two and not think hard about it. The 4GB with 100GB of NVMe is the classic “one real website plus its database” machine, or a comfortable dev environment. The 8GB is where you start putting things you’d be annoyed to lose: a Nextcloud instance, a self-hosted mail stack, a small Kubernetes node, a Minecraft server that people actually play on, or a staging environment that mirrors production.
