Aaron from Audefy Technologies informed me that they have restocked and are doing a 15% off recurring discount promotion again, using the code 15OFFVPS at checkout. However the price is actually dearer than last time as they have raised their standard price. Their Xen VPS hosting plans “Red” is now $6.80/month after the discount. Direct sign up link.
- 512MB memory/1024MB swap
- 15GB storage
- 300GB/month data transfer

PayPal-only. Servers in Seattle WA. They seem to be more active amongst the gaming/botting groups, as Aaron pointed me to this thread at Shadow Scripts show how many people are vouching for their service. The default OS image selected in WHMCS is also “RS Botting”, showing what their customers are mostly using the VPS for. Aaron also explained why they were selling on HackForums, i.e. probably just a reseller. They are a company based in Toronto in Canada, but having their WHOIS masked, running non-redundant NS, etc. Some interesting websites run on the same server as their main website — probably their shared hosting clients :P

We’ve also disabled ‘RS Botting’ from being selected as a Template since RS has implemented bot fighting capabilities and most bots have been rendered inoperable.
Those options will be enabled as they become available once again.
…or in other words when someone figures out how to get around their restrictions. :)

up2vps?
Our servers are rented from up2vps.
I thought up2vps was having issues. From a quick review of their previous offer folks were complaining:

Any provider with ‘Up’ in their domain and/or title seems to have issues. It’s the LEB curse. {Insert ghost sounding noises here.}
Those are the OpenVZ servers, correct me if I’m wrong.
Also, there has been no reported problems on our end.
I’d like to know if the Xen package is true resource allocation. I just left Ramnode because I was told my scripts were using too much resources. I want a true dedicated container that is all mine. Will your Xen package give me that?
