Purchased, however it was not made clear that a VPS will require ID verification – this is also not a legal requirement despite their wording in the request.
I do not support businesses that place onerous requirements on a $10 order which clearly does not breach any threshold for KYC or anti money laundering.
It would be nice if this requirement was made clear BEFORE order & payment on both LEB & the provider’s website
To update… they made an exception to the ID verification requirement for me upon request… YMMV
This company is the most arrogant VPS company I ever come across. Don’t waste your time purchasing from the site. I ordered VPS they deducted $10 from my account immediately. After deducting they show VPS pending that I need to do KYC registration. Very funny 🤣 kyc just because I want use VPS $10/year? I obliged because I just need micro 1gig ram 1 1vcpu 2TB VPS in UK between $9 to $12/year. I submitted my face verification and my ID card before I new it this hosting company just cancelled my login account and send message immediately to my email that my money got refunded. What happened? I don’t even know I just got refunded message and account cancellation. The question is how is this kind of company going to make good sales? Are we sure this company is not just collecting our KYC for illegal purpose they will later used it for?
