Disappointed in this offer. Last year, they offered a great deal for just LEB community*. Lifetime offer with 100GB of space, instead of 10GB. It was so good. I will pass this time :(

I understand they cannot offer same deal like last year, but 10GB for lifetime is way too less.

(*may be they had offered elsewhere too, but I had only seen it on LEB)

Last year they offered 100GB of space for $50/year, not lifetime.

I usually rely on continued drops in storage prices but with the last year or so I figured my customers would be most pleased by me focusing on keeping the doors open. Hardware costs haven’t decreased, and in many cases have increased, since early 2020.

Love MXRoute. The service is working great, is fast, and so much cheaper than anywhere else. I do wish spam options were a little better, though the built in spam control seems pretty effective compared to previous provider. Very happy with service and price.

The offer is good. I’m looking over their documentation, I see no mention of aliases. Do they have them as part of the service? Or just accounts? Thanks

Are these lifetime yearly prices or just the first year?

I’ve been using an MXRoute Black Friday plan from 2018 with the same price since registration. I’ve only had 1-2 minor hiccups in that time, all of which were resolved quickly.

The lifetime package is actually just a one time payment, no renewal.

So in the plans 10GB and 25GB are they for per email that has been configured or unlimited email address but storage will be limited to that size?

    • Simon:

It’s storage for all users. Unlike other providers (hello Gmail, Fastmail) MXRoute don’t charge for the number of users or domains you have. The 10/25GB repreent the total size of all the mailboxes combined.

So I signed up earlier this week when the BF deal dropped. Is there a way to filter incoming mail (based on the from and/or to address) into a separate folder? Seems something that is obvious, but maybe I’m searching the wrong term to find out how to do this.

It’s not obvious Simon. If you use Roundcube web mail (your mxroute email control panel can get you there), you can set up those filters and move mail to folders based on rules. Those rules are server side sieve rules, so, don’t have to use Roundcube for anything else and the rules will be processed no matter what client you use.

Not tried it, but apparently you can use a sieve client directly to manage those rules if you have one.
