Justin, from BlueVM, has sent in three very nice offers to us. These offers are exclusive to LowEndBox.com and all feature their own panel: Feathur. Feathur has a viewable/editable source, is free for private use and was recently launched in beta.

BlueVM Communications LLC are based in Honolulu and are dedicated to offering “low cost, high quality Virtual Private Servers (VPS)”. We have featured BlueVM numerous times since early 2012 and reviews have been mainly positive. After they had enough of SolusVM after numerous security incidents, BlueVM decided to write their own panel. Feathur is the result of that. It’s already in use at BlueVM (and has been for a while) but it is now also available to the public. Their hardware primarily consists of Intel E3-1240 servers (@ 3.4GHz) with 32 GB of RAM and 4 x 1TB or 2TB hard drives in RAID10. A review of their service (which includes Feathur screenshots & serverbear link) can be found here.
BlueVM accept PayPal, Google Checkout and Bitcoin via Bitpay. Due to abuse of their previous refund policy, they no longer offer refunds on their services except in special cases. They provide a 99.99% uptime guarantee and provide service credits if they fail to meet this. According to their website, they undersell (typically they leave 500GB of HDD space free and 2-4GB of ram free). For more information, have a read of their Terms of Service.

Just a quick note: We actually have a bitcoin payment processor (Bitpay) so payments via bitcoin are now automatic instead of manual.
Right! Automated indeed!
Ordered KVM2 November Special offer more than 14 hours ago, and servers are still not up, apparently. Should’ve checked the complaints of people in this very same page. Sigh!
Scam!
And these are the speeds you get from their Zurich VPS
(freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh)
22 December: Download speed from i3d.net, Rotterdam, NL: 658KB/s
23 December: Download speed from i3d.net, Rotterdam, NL: 679KB/s
24 December: Download speed from i3d.net, Rotterdam, NL: 566KB/s
ALL of the test locations are under 1MB/s, apart from CacheFly and Coloat (Atlanta)
I already rented one of their Atlanta VPS, but if someone told me how their customer care was, I probably would have been very far away from their services.
Their response?
1- “The tests are all pulling from locations ~3,000 miles from your VPS” (Zurich-Rotterdam is less than 370 miles, and again, for ALL the locations you get UNDER 1MBps)
2- “We do not offer refunds”
The moral is: you take it, you keep it. You are advised.
KVM3 link is bad … goes to Blue3 instead of special offers.
Also, I’ve been a customer with them on the KVM3 plan. Performance & reliability was good and they supported custom ISOs(is that still true ?).
Yes we still support custom ISOs.
How are custom ISO’s used? Do I open a ticket to have it added? Or can I just link to the external ISO in the panel?
Open a ticket with the link to the ISO. We’ll add it for you.
Bluevm still good, hope to continue.
No $5 yearlies now? :P
At the moment, no. The $7.50 ones are better anyway…
The ios provides a Windows 2003?
There is a windows 2003 iso on our KVM iso list in both English and Chinese.
Is a free license included?
No. You’ll need to provide your own license.
can i upgrade from blue3 to KVM2 and stay with same ip
Depends on the location, open a ticket and we’ll see what we can do.
Feathur is not open source. Abusing the term “open source” like this is exactly why “free software” is a better term for free software. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-source_software
Also, for the price, BlueVM is great.
Second this, and also do note: free as in freedom, not free beer.
One of the main features of open source is any legal obtainer to be able to sell it as they like…
We didn’t claim it was “open source”. The author of the post apparently assumed that. I’ll see if we can get it updated.
I understand that, should’ve clarified I was talking to whoever wrote the article.
That would have been me :-) I use “Open Source” for free as in speech and as in beer software and “open source” for software which has its source openly available. I’ll edit the post to make this more clear.
EDIT: fixed, sorry for not having stated this too clearly.
It is in fact free software now.
It’s licensed under AGPL.
KVM2 November – California.
This order CPU is E3 or E5?
Dual E5-2620
Any 3-6 months KVM offers?
Unfortunately not this time around.
Do these KVM offers support windows OS?
Yes.
Latency is good. But the number of packet loss is too damn high on LA test ip from Malaysia. Can you look into it?
Yes Budi, I have a vps on and LA node and also find upload slow at the moment, but bluevm are due to move my vps soon.
I think a support ticket would probably be better unless you want to post your IP in public :)
Run an MTR report and open a ticket so they can see the source of the loss and no doubt they will help you.
Do you have a ticket number I can look into?
Thanks guys, Happy to report bluevm completed a request for move, my issue sorted.
Glad to hear it, let us know if you need anything else…
Actually i’m interested to purchase, but when i ping from local connection also using http://super-ping.com there is too much packet loss from all over the world. No ticket since i’m not purchase it yet.
I’m actually interested to buy but after i look at this http://www.super-ping.com/?ping=s1.ca.bluevm.com&locale=en i hold my urge to purchase. That’s why i ask for you to look into it. :D
I need 2GB KVM los angles :'(
You can submit a ticket and get one for $49 per year. It’d have the following specs: 2 GB RAM, 6 CPU Cores, 60 GB Disk space, 4 TB Bandwidth, 1 Gbps uplink, 2 IPv4 address
Done, The ticket was submited
Whoa. I just saw this. Awesome!
Will you be having any New Years sales for KVM3?
I would also be interested in an LA box with the listed specs above. 2 GB RAM, 6 CPU Cores, 60 GB Disk space, 4 TB Bandwidth, 1 Gbps uplink, 2 IPv4 address – Looks like a sweet deal.
The IPs of HostName Example in Network Section seems to be for ChicagoVPS. Like:
For Chicago: http://whois.domaintools.com/192.210.211.231
The Emails belongs to ChicagoVPS !
We seem to be getting blocks that were formerly Chicago VPS, Hudson Valley Host, etc… I’ll submit to have that updated.
Why i need a domain for register a vps? I use vps for private purpose and don’t need domain.
I understand that in mayor VPS services this is only a option, you can set any domain example host.aaa.com and then only use the IP.
You don’t need a domain. You can type any random domain into the box. I thought I removed all of those before the sale.
The server which creates these KVMs doesn’t have a CPU that supports 64bit.
just bought one, 64bit OS is not supported
E5-2620 and to be fair almost any CPU made in the last 10 years now is 64bit, this sort of thing should really be handled in a support ticket, they may simply need to pass through the CPU model to the guest rather than the default KVM QEMU CPU.
A 64bit OS is HIGHLY unlikely not to be supported.
We’ve corrected this issue. Our original KVM configs had some issues with 64 bit… if you’re still having problems feel free to submit a ticket and we’ll get your KVM corrected.
tempting offer, but after digging some previous reviews, i think i’ll pass…
Every company has “bad” reviews from clients. There is no perfect company, but we do work very hard to maintain the quality our clients expect. If you decide to try our services, my email is always open (admin[at]bluevm.com), if you have any issues my staff aren’t able to solve to your satisfaction.
You are right. but it seems that you have a problem with timly response to the support tickets. ppl have to ask for help here. please look at your birthday offer comment
Every time we offer a special we get an unusually high number of tickets. People can be impatient and decide that we don’t care about their issues which isn’t true.
That’s because during offers we get flooded with tickets and can’t handle everything in under a few hours, so because clients can’t wait they reply on the offer thread.
“KVM2 November” has support for OpenVPN (Tun/Tap) ?
Yes. You run your own kernel so it’s fairly easy to setup tun/tap.
1. no automated installation function (no template) (manual IP config at installation is not working for me) no mask or gateway information provided.
2. many ISOs are provided, many 64bit OS images. but the CPU doesn’t support 64bit.
3. TOS says don’t provide refund unless it’s a special case or bought a wrong product.
I think I bought a wrong product. If I knew the CPU they use doesn’t support 64bit, I wouldn’t buy.
We’re investigating the 64-bit issue now. It shouldn’t be like that.
@Kyaky the majority of KVM providers do not use templates. It’s not hard to use VNC!
@Jordan Thanks for your reply. VNC is not hard to use for sure. but not being able to use after purchase is making my work hard. I was going to buy another 5 if the windows ISO could be loaded and used. but the images provided don’t seem to work atm. Will it support virtio as well? or just IDE. Hope you can fix this up ASAP. If you could get this fixed, please ignore the refund ticket I opened. Thanks
another glitch, shutdown VPS in Feathur and boot. This makes VNC totally broken and unreachable.
I had problems getting the network configured since DHCP doesn’t work and no gateway was configured. I tried the IP address of the VNC server (which is provided in Feathur) and that worked. I also have another BlueVM so that helped me figure it out. Here’s the configuration I used:
You may also have to edit the network configuration manually after installing the OS. After I installed CentOS, the network didn’t work so I had to modify the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 with the settings above. I hope this information is correct and if not, maybe BlueVM can clarify it?
After doing some pings, I kept getting this:
I guess that means there’s a more direct route to the host (aka the gateway is wrong). So, I changed the gateway to what x.x.x.x was and that went away. I wish BlueVM either fixed the DHCP or sent details on configuring the network for the VPS when you sign up.
Thanks, but the problem I met is beside the one you just talked about. I’ve got all settings correctly. it just keeps getting disconnected. (I’m using Windows)
Are you still having issues with this? If so I’d love to take a look if you don’t mind putting in a ticket…
Is it possible to transfer one of my .5s over to Chicago? I understand if you can’t, seeing as this is limited support.
Also, is Blue .5 here to stay as a permanent product or is this a loss leader that you don’t intend to continue?
.5’s were only provisioned in Chicago so you must be in Chicago.
We intend to continue it when we have the stock but it is very limited, however it is not a loss leader.
I got mine a few months ago in Buffalo actually.
IPs are geolocated to Buffalo but it is actually in Chicago.
Does your Kansas location support KVM?
We have no KVM in Kansas.
Been recommended as a lot of friends, I hope to continue efforts ~

thats too low i guess
must have just been a busy period, it’s better now :)
same result in their previous offer as i found out
If this result stays the same after our hostnodes and client disk tests have calmed down please open a ticket as this is not normal.
Do you have 512MB RAM KVM in LA?
Yes. It’s listed on the same page.
My VPS with BlueVM was ok before. But since 2013/11/03, frequent service down is observed and from yesterday, my VPS is completely down, and after a few times of rebuild, the VPS still can not be even connected. A few tickets have been submitted yesterday but no response until now. Probably the customer service is busy with new customers because of the promotion?
Correct, we had nearly 6x our normal ticket load yesterday and today it looks like it’s going to be the same.
not much better though ( BLUE3 – LA):

Is it OVZ or KVM? If it’s KVM then try using virtio driver instead.
double comment, of course, if that’s even possible via Feathur.
OVZ
Open a ticket if it’s the same after 24 hours as many customers will be doing disk tests.
Just a note that it looks like the link for the November KVM3 packages is wrong. The link right now brings you to OpenVZ packages and they’re all sold out. I believe the correct link should be the same as the November KVM2 packages (https://www.bluevm.com/cart.php?gid=42)
Correct.
I have a bluevm VPS in Los Angeles and reliablity and performance with them (especially at peak hours is not good.)
Poor I/0, daily page time outs and 1200ms http response times.
Stay away if you are using your vps for anything other than learning.
Have you submitted a ticket about this? If so can I have the ticket number?
View Ticket #240552 needs help too.
I just responded to that ticket. Let us know if you need anything else…
pack I experienced this too, they moved me at my request to a different location and seems better now.
Can i run an i2p router on one of these?
I don’t see why not…
can you take a look at ticket #776451 ?
i think i got the same issue as kyaky.
I don’t have enough info to do a net install. mask, gateway and nameserver.
networking has problem anyway. I haven’t got a useful reply yet.
Well, feels like getting scammed. And they are not replying to tickets.
Maybe just a lesson learnt.
Your ticket was answered over 3 days ago. Hopefully we resolved your problem. Please let us know if you need anything else.
yeah, i figured the setting out by myself.
I really wish you could include gateway info in Feathur for customers.
Not everyone is familiar with KVM enough to find out by themselves.
Other than that, it’s been good so far. I take back the scam part, but definitely need some wiki doc for customers.
We do now… We take suggestions seriously :)
Do you have LA KVM 2Gig and 4 CPU with yearly price?
Thanks
You can submit a ticket and get one for $49 per year. It’d have the following specs: 2 GB RAM, 6 CPU Cores, 60 GB Disk space, 4 TB Bandwidth, 1 Gbps uplink, 2 IPv4 address
is windows 2008 and 2012 iso avaible in kvm plan?
+1
They should be, if not you can request them. I do know 2003 and 2008 are on our ISO list.
Can I run a gameserver (minecraft/pocketmine/starmade)? I looked thru the AUP and didn’t see if I can or can’t.
As long as you don’t abuse resources, yes.
can you update my $25/year 512mb KVM plan to $29/year 1G plan.
I am ready to pay difference.
Yes, submit a ticket.
Any way too buy KVM2 in Zurich for 1 day (or other short time) for test if my configuration will work properly? Even 1 month will be ok…
Got BLUE0.5 for monitoring. At this time working fine except iptables state module was not loaded.

Hello,
could you check that tun/tap module works? for example OpenVPN will work?
Thanks!
That would be my primary use of this box :) If it works I’ll buy it.
TUN/TAP works on Blue0.5
is bluevm replying tickets? can you please take a look at this #240552 ticket. At the beginning, You didn’t reply to the 64bit glitch ticket. I had to ask for help here. then you confirmed 64bit was a glitch. Can you please reply to my ticket and solve the problem. or provide a refund for not being able to use. I don’t really worry about glitch. I don’t like when there is a glitch or problem and a ticket opened, no one reply to help.
network gets disconnected randomly. Reboot is the only way to get a chance to resume the network. 4 tickets submitted in 2 days after purchase. so far got 2 useless replies from customer service. “64bit” glitch resolved but network bad random disconnection problem exists and happens a lot.
Oh, well. I will see it as a sign to stick to ramnode if it finally not working out…
Do you have a ticket # I can take a look at? Perhaps the next time it happens you can leave your system running so we can checkout your network issue?
#240552 no one has replied to my ticket yet.
The VPS has been offline. The icon on bottom right corner shows normal but no internet. It happens a lot. I talked to the IRC staff 8 hours ago, they said this was a known issue. As I saidin the ticket , if you can’t resolve the problem just provide a refund please.
mine is finally working, after using the VNC’s address as the gateway…
but i would hope that they can put those info in the feathur control panel like solusvm.
hard to find them when first time using KVM
We’ve taken feedback and put that information in the control panel like Kevin suggested.
Do you have Windows 2008 or 2012? I have my own license.
Yes.
Yesterday payments, so far have not opened to use, and why?
Have you submitted a ticket about this? Sometimes creation doesn’t go through for some reason and we have to look into it…
for service BLUE 0.5 100GB Bandwidth/month or 100GB Bandwidth/year ?
Bandwidth is calculated monthly.
Same question as yesterday.
“Does your Kansas location support KVM?”
afaik kansas city location doesnt have KVM.
No KVM in Kansas.
cheap and shite will over sell these babys till the cows come home should put limited support on all haha glad i didnt get a cheap one for my dns
Excellent support offered by these guys. Get on the IRC for more urgent issues or log a ticket for anything else.
The service has been nothing but great from my month with them so far.
very good services – excellent supporting from bluevm.com
Is there a way to be notified if/when more stock of the Chicago .5 ever comes available? I wanted that one but missed out.
More stock added to that plan: https://www.bluevm.com/cart.php?gid=42
It almost kills me to see how many negative comments there are about BlueVM, despite the fact that i’ve honestly never had any real issues with this company. In fact, aside from maybe one minor network hiccup, I’ve never had issues with this company. They are extremely accommodating and quite easy to work with. If you haven’t at least tried BlueVM out, I recommend that you do. They have a no refund policy, but I honestly doubt that you’ll be disappointed…
Thank you… please let us know if you need anything.
I have had a blueVM VM for a little over two months, and have not been able to use it yet. I have been *super* patient (this is the first time I have said anything publicly), but they don’t even appear to read their trouble tickets (when they respond, the responses ignore what I wrote in the ticket; also, get used to getting automated responses about how sorry they are your ticket has not been answered in days, and how valuable you are as a customer, and then… nothing).
Glad you are not stuck in the same hell as me. The host my VM was provisioned on would not stay up for more than a week, and a few days uptime was most common. So, they re-provisioned me to a new host. Now, the uptime is measured in minutes. Different issue now, but minutes to hours after starting the VM (linux live CD or installed Linux), feathur shows the VM as powered off.
It is the few positive comments about BlueVM like yours that keep me hopeful that *eventually* I will be able to use the VM. If things change, and they finally get things sorted, I will update this post.

Where is 1Gbps uplink?
Likely people are over-saturating the line with test downloads. I’d recommenced you wait a few days then test again.
Are you sure, that in Zurich 1Gbps uplink? May be 100 Mbps?
Blue0.5 has support for TUN/TAP ?
Yes.
wow so much negative comment? I’m interensting to test this provider but id they offer monthly payment.
3 of your offer here yearly only, that odd.
do you support bsd? I want to setup openbsd as dev box.
Yes we have BSD ISOs.
When I started the VPS, I got this.
VPS is disabled, contact support!
Contacted them since 12pm now it is 4pm, no response.
Did I just waste my $29.95?
Ticket #316864
same here #985738
It looks like both of your tickets have been resolved a few days ago. Please let us know if you need anything else…
Ticket #115558 (VPS is disabled, contact support!)
These should both be resolved. Let us know if you need anything…
Now 7:30pm, still no response from them.
Relax boy, usually they take days to answer a simple ticket. Use their IRC instead.
Days to answer a simple ticket reveals something about the company. I’ve had that experience with Shard Host and look what happened to it now.
For me, the best VPS providers have excellent customer support. And by ‘support’, I don’t mean stuff like helping to install a package on our VPS.
It doesn’t normally take us a few days to answer a ticket. As per our ticket tracker our average reply time during non-sale times is 1 hour 45 minutes and our average reply time during sales like this is 6 hours.
I would suggest that you shutdown your ticket system if you can’t support customer promptly. Luckily you have IRC support so I can get help from there. I didn’t know that at the beginning. Thank you!
One thing that I do not understand. I have a BlueVM and an EDIS KVM of 1GB memory, both I installed stright from Debian 7 32 bit stable and with XFCE4. When logged in via xrdp I can see that on EDIS side I use about 110MB memory and on BlueVM about 880MB. Is this correct? Would you expect the same behaviour?
I’d say your disk is caching into the RAM. We have a lot of free RAM on our servers. If you’d like to open a ticket we can take a look.
My ticket #775294.
After two days later still no reply:(
This ticket was replied to on November 11th, two days ago… Perhaps your email is dropping our response?
No more Blue 0.5 in LA? Lots in NY/Buffalo, but need a west coast since I’m in Asia.
Thanks
I was using Shard, this looks likes a good replacement. I was able to get a custom ISO mounted almost immediately after requesting it through a ticket. I am really happy so far.
I like the specs for the $18/yr deal. Not many comments to go by that would make me want to pick one but I’ll keep an eye out next year when I’ll be closer to needing another VPS.
I Bought a KVM3 and installed OS yesterday. VPS is down since then, I opened a ticket six hours ago and got no response. I asked on chat and others are in the same situation. Not a good start :(
same here.
first day I couldnt access it. then dhcp was not working. and now its completely offline.
response of support was ok, until now.
Do you happen to have a ticket?
Also we use static IP configuration, not DHCP.
Ticket #584982
Same as Luciano, bought KVM3 yesterday, No longer than 12 hours, VPS down until now, more than 12 hours. Open ticket still no reply…
Ticket Responded. And they give me 1 day service more.
Bought the $18 deal. Use them for learning only that too if you can afford frequent downtimes and other problems. I don’t blame them because for this money good service should NOT be expected.
You’ll have to spend much more than $18 to get decent service. E.g. Ramnode, Linode, Digital Ocean, BuyVM etc.
If you’re having issues feel free to open a ticket with us, we’re more than happy to help.
Mine is down too. No response to ticket. At least I was abke to pay with mined bitcoins.
If you’re having issues feel free to open a ticket with us, we’re more than happy to help.
I have bought November KVM2 vps (512 MB ram) 2 days before. Now my VPS down for whole day. Submitted support ticket 6 hours before. still no reply. I am lucky that i didn’t setup a live website on this server till now, else i will be in deep sh!t. Please try to reply support ticket faster.
If you’re having issues feel free to open a ticket with us, we’re more than happy to help.
I traded in my BlueVM OpenVZ VPS in Zurich (from the late August offer) for the KVM3 offer in Zurich. I opened a ticket requesting the change. As soon as I paid the invoice for the upgrade, the new KVM VPS was ready for me. The Feathur interface for KVM is easy to use and similar to the OpenVZ interface. You must provide your own VNC client. Remember to change the account(s) password(s) on your VPS via SSH and your VNC password in Feathur after you have completed OS installation.
OS installation and setup was easy. BlueVM offers a wide assortment of OSs to choose from – various versions of Linux, BSD, Windows, and others I did not recognize. (I do not know how the Windows versions are licensed, but I presume you must provide your own license code.) I installed Debian 7. Performance is good.
Glad you’re enjoying your VPS. Please let us know if you need anything…
Have just bought a KVM-in Zurich
Can anyone tell me where I me for the user name.
VPS Control Panel find
In https://feathur.bluevm.com u can see your VNC server (VNC Server/Port:) zu2.bluevm.com:port. U can connect here and install OS.
I have been with BlueVM for over a year now. For cheap VPS’ they are good. They don’t mind giving you the best available deal if you ask.
As many of you are noticing, their support isn’t that good. My VPS was down for close to a week during the recent Feathur migration, and their ticket response always took at least a day just to hear “forwarding this to…” which then took another day or two. Support when they run sales (i.e. now) is horrible, don’t expect quick responses while this is ongoing. They also have a bunch of hanger-ons on IRC who give horrible advice just to have something to say.
That being said, when they’re not having issues the servers are as solid. I have had very little random downtime with them. Downtime should be expected, but don’t expect rapid responses when it happens.
We’re working to improve response times and make our network more stable. Please feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions or questions.
It is back up now, I mostly got this for a cheap solution to do some backups of other vps’s I have. Hopefully it be more reliable than it was today most of the time.
If you’re having issues feel free to open a ticket with us, we’re more than happy to help.
I ordered a KVM3 and ended up getting two of them due to the issues they have had recently. I don’t know if anyone else is getting this lucky….
We occasionally do this to help our customers by providing a easy way for them to setup a HA network…
why website bluevm.com is Error 522 ?
this is the screenshoot :
http://prntscr.com/24fvsi
We were blocked in China due to Cloudflare. This should be fixed now…
My vps had been down for a day and there is still no response on the situation.
Same here. KVM3 in LA not reachable and no response.
If you’re having issues feel free to open a ticket with us, we’re more than happy to help.
Looks like things have not improved based on user comments. Even if they were overselling to the max the VPS nodes would stay up wouldn’t they?
We had a few issues when these VPS started getting setup, but now we’re seeing good up time and responsiveness from the servers. Unfortunately sometimes you have to do a bit of load balancing to fix these issues.
My Buffalo has been down for over 24 hours…Have a Zurich for over a week no problems. Bluevm main webpage going over to a Cloudflare error page.
We had a few issues with Cloudflare, but our site no longer uses it for cache so this should be fixed. As for your KVM in Buffalo if you’re having any issues please open a ticket we’ll gladly take a look.
My Zurich KVM VPS was unreachable for hours yesterday and again today (and still is).
The support ticket is, despite several requests, still unanswered.
I moved from another provider to BlueVM, because I though BlueVM was a good, reliable provider.
For now I am regretting this move.
VPS down for 16 hours
PingdomAlert DOWN:
192.3.xx.xxx) is down since 11/15/2013 10:21:32PM.
no reponse to ticket
I’m not happy
I have some external cpanel license with bluevm, third time happend that my license got expire,
at this time my two cpanel licnese deactive and ticket open from last 24hrs , all my customers do not have access to cpanel
I have been a customer for about a week now. I really can’t believe they have made such a nice product available at such a low price as the KVM3 plan. I have spent time in their IRC channel, and I am very impressed with their service. I have had nothing but great service from the staff. They continually make improvements to the system, many times based on customer suggestions. The owner has been willing to bend over backwards to make customers happy, and field tickets himself. I was so happy with my service, and the price was so nice, I added another KVM3. I didn’t really need it, but what the heck!
I am interested on November KVM2 on Zurich. The order link provided(https://www.bluevm.com/cart.php?gid=42) doesn’t have that deal.
I bought into this deal — only to find some other VPS is using the IP they assigned me. DHCP won’t work because it can tell the IP is already in use. The problem’s been going on for twelve hours now, with no reply from support. Their live chat is a public room absolutely full of people with various network problems, and you get banned for asking about your ticket.
Oh well. Looked good on paper. They don’t offer refunds, so there’s money down the drain.
Hello,
I have a problem with the IP adress too, DHCP is not working and the VM(Windows 7 image) is disconnected from network. Such VPS is now useless for me. Ticket opened, will see :)
Their website is down and so is the VM. They running away with the profits?
Can’t politely express how unhappy with I am with BlueVM right now.
They are developing their new web control panel, called Feathur. It has serious, severe bugs. As in, doesn’t work right at all with Firefox for me, fails in less bad with Chrome.
With a couple of days’ notice, they just force-migrated my old KVM VPS to this new control panel, forced power-off and all. And now the thing won’t power up through their “Feathur” through Firefox or Chrome. Well, the control panel says green, but not working nor VNC access. And http://www.bluevm.com is down AGAIN, so can’t even submit a support ticket.
BlueVM has really failed me. Very disappointed.
I also have problems with them. I try to reinstall my VPS(KVM), but the VPN is not working, so I ended up with a dead VPS, I cannot run the installation that has started, and the machine is not booting anymore.I opened a ticket 3 days ago, is not solved until now
Just purchased their KVM3 special. Every night my host has been shut down for unknown reasons. Service ticket has been opened but no response. Went as far as reinstalling the base OS in case it was a OS issue. Same results – shut down every day. Still no response from support.
yeah, i was getting this as well, reboot every night, stopping my services. So I decided to just reformat and reinstall, big mistake, now the KVM won’t even start. Feather sucks, i like SolusVM better (minus the exploit). BlueVM support is slow, still waiting for response to ticket, never had a problem with Nick at Ramnode.
I think will open DISPUTE on Paypal. 1 day after purchased, down for more than 1 day. Then up but the network suck. Can not open from Indonesia. I can access it from my other USA VPS from servermania. And I also can access it from my Dedicated Server in Indonesia. But nothing from home or my office. More than 2 weeks. Very-very poor network. Data center mean can be accessed from all of the world. My VPS IP is 23.94.26.100. Please check it.
@kyaky Have your network issue been resolved yet? I’m getting exactly same problem with this :(
My VPSes keep getting disconnected every few days, their staff told me change the network card, I did but it could not help
almost 48 hours after payment but no set up for my VPS. Support ticket very low responses. AFter ticket answered, still no VPS set up :'(
Yes, same problem here – 24 hours after payment for 12 months no VPS yet. Bad service!!
I’m a new customer to BlueVM. I’ve purchased some BLUE0.5 VPSs and, for my purposes, they are performing well so far.
The Feathur interface is quite nice, although I’ve noticed some minor bugs.
My problem is no connection tracking is enabled on the some of the BLUE0.5 VPSs, which makes securing the VPS difficult. My Chicago VPS was fixed a day after a ticket was raised. No response to the ticket for my LA VPS after 4 days.
ordered a virtual server for 1 year @ 1 dec, still not up. never replied my ticket i posted 2 days back. scam?
today they finally “set up” a server. though, it was not available: “no route to host”. from 3 different locations. so awful. my money and time wasted. what an awful scam.
my BlueVM KVM has been down for over 24 hours. Feather is not starting my VM. I have submitted a ticket and still waiting for a response for BlueVM support over 24 hours later. Support is a lot to be desired with BlueVM.
Trying my luck, that this comment will be read by BlueVM and contact me.
Update: I guess somebody from BlueVM saw this, my ticket was responded and KVM is now fixed. I was given a $2 credit as well for the delay.
Thank you.
My VPS was donw for a week and no response to ticket, also no credit was given
I’ve had a bad experience with BlueVM in their Buffalo location. There has been frequent downtime on various nodes, and more frequent packet loss. Still, can’t complain for the price I guess.
Just stay away from bluevm guys!@!!
I’ve been their customer since 2012, but now their services is really sucks, support for ticket is taking ages!
they changed my VPS to the lower specs than before!

Nice service and good vps.
Awful service, your vps can be down for weeks and they won’t answer your ticket, servers are slow and I had in the last 30 days an uptime of 61% ….
Don’t purchase anything from them
