Yep all Windows VPS’s are accessed via standard remote desktop.

How come my VPS seem to be on a node that has E3 cpu instead of E5 it supposed to have:
“Host Node Specs
– 2x Intel Xeon E5-2660’s”?
For some reason task manager shows E3 but if we enable full cpu pass through it will show that just submit a ticket and we’ll enable it :)
What about getting an 4vCPU server for intensive CPU usage on some hours? (video transcoding)
The 4GB plan comes with 4 x vCPU’s allocated to it.

As long as you are not causing issues for the other customers on the same host node as you then you should be fine.

Just want to say, this is a pretty great deal. My Virtual Server has been performing great for about a month now! Never any problems with ChicagoVPS.
Can I run a development environment on this with: Visual Studio 2017, nginx+php or apache+php or MEAN stack? with a database server (MSSQL or PostgreSQL)? This wouldn’t be for production, just prototyping for a much larger server elsewhere.
They don’t have stock at the moment, but I would recommend you a slice from Buyvm (https://buyvm.net/kvm-dedicated-server-slices)

I came here looking for the truth and it had sorted to the bottom from naive and fake posts. Never again. The “funniest” time with Chicago VPS was when they allocated the same VPS to two people and we would reset the account back and forth, eventually, I was able to login to the unreset server, I thought someone had hacked me… No Chicago VPS is just so poorly managed. Clown Show.
