ChicagoVPS have their servers in, well, Chicago IL (DuPont Fabros Datacenter to be exact). They seem to be affiliated with Colocrossing and Velocity Servers. The annual discounted price comes down to $5/month prepaid which is pretty cheap for a 512MB Xen box, but do note that ChicagoVPS has only had its domain registered for 4 months and is a new player in VPS hosting.

That’s not a bad deal at all. I kind of wish I had held off a little while longer, heh. I ended up going with the same package here, but prepaid for the year at $81. I’m still in the process of getting all my stuff sorted out, but the setup was quick and painless, so I have no complaints so far 🙂

Right now I cannot connect to it =(. I don’t know if it is just me but it just sits there loading for quite a while xD. If it definitely isn’t your end I’ll try clearing my cache or restarting my computer heh ^^.
I think its you then, I had a problem too and had to change my DNS yesterday. I dont know why but I do know its up 🙂
Yeah, I still can’t open the website with either Opera or Internet Explorer but I was able to with my phone. I’ll just do a DNS flush and see if that works =).
I really can’t figure out what is wrong ;0. I tried IPConfig /flushdns, renewing my IP, restarting my router, restarting my computer, installed my webbrowser again ;0.. Is there any chance that you can check to see that the DNS is aligning properly, everything seems to point to that ;(.

Heh, it’s fine Chris. I think it’s just not working well for me ;0. I do appreciate the amount of work you put in to to try and fix this but if it is only me having these issues than I’d say don’t worry too much xD. I will just continue my search and if I get stuck again I’ll check back to see how you are doing with ChicagoVPS =).
