We used CityNet in Egypt and in Turkey also. I recommend not to use CityNet. Support is awful (3 days delay and… automatic ticket closing). Read comments to the previous offers. Be careful, guys.
I used them for some time a few years ago. The uptime for the OpenVZ instance was seldom more than a week or two. They always rebooted the node without any warning. Well, that being a test server it did not bother much but made me wonder what the tech guys are made of.
We are no longer provide OpenVZ packages, All our nodes now running KVM Virtualization which more stable and reliable than OpenVZ.
Yes, and there are providers that can make an OpenVZ server run reliably for 365+ days instead of two weeks. KVM is, of course, more solid though which will probably make a difference.
We are providing VPS hosting in locations where rare to find VPS hosting or lowendbox packages like Egypt and Turkey. Support tickets normally answered within few hours, We do apologize if your ticket closed automatically for some reason without answer.
Which reason use this location, same a South Europe but cost more than. Pretty expensive location.
I use Citynethost a few years back, when LEB was about finding a new host. They’re quit stable at that time, but after the problem with the Country policies, the server is not good as before, and that’s the time I leave them.
Sometime the SolusVM is not responding, it’s just like an oversold node. But I can’t complaint with that low price
We can say that our service stability and performance is better than few years ago, That is why we are expanding to new locations.
We do not oversold our nodes as KVM visualization platform storage and memory resources dedicated to each vm created on the node.

Our customer can request rDNS update. CityNet Host is implementing new policies for client requesting Reverse DNS “RDNS”, or “PTR Records”

Not very fast connection/server/support. I had some trouble the first year with moving the VPS around to other servers, but that hasn’t happened since 2013. It’s gone down for a few days about once a year since. I’ve had to open a support ticket each time and it was eventually brought up without explanation. It has worked well enough for a DNS secondary & mail/web backup. Because of the 2-3 day downtime each year; I wouldn’t use it for a primary server if you need consistent uptime.
Not perfect, but good enough for the price. I’ve gone through dozens of VPSes from LEB since then and this is the only I have kept after the first year.
I remember doing some traceroutes when they first introduced the Turkish servers, it had a very strange traceroute from inside Turkey, going through the UK even, if I remember correctly.
I haven’t had the opportunity to check yet this time, I hope it has improved.
I first heard about CityNet years ago, probably gere in LE*. They had only Egyptian servers back than which was quite exotic in terms of VPS locations. The company was based in Egypt. I wonder if they have any physical branch or incorporation in Turkey and how they undertake contracts with local DCs.

NEVER! EVER! GO! WITH! CITYNET!
I’ve been with them years ago, had like 40 servers with them. Permanent power outage, network outage, host outage, harddrive failures, shutdowns, restarts, lost servers (YES they “LOST” my servers).
The only thing which is fine is im still in contact with Khaled Ahmed who was once working for Citynet. He became a good friend of my during the years and we still have contact over facebook :)
