More Christmas offers are flowing in! Anthony from CloudStatic emailed me their LowEndBox special, where you can get 50% off one-time discount when you use promo code LEB50. It works with quarterly payments so their “Basic” account comes down to $7.50/3 months (and $15/3 months afterwards). Useful when you only intend to test out for 3 months. On the other hand I found their Christmas coupon better at 25% off recurring discount. So $3.75/month for the life of the account when you use promo code XMAS25. You get
- 256MB memory
- 25GB storage
- 250GB/month data transfer
- OpenVZ/SolusVM
Direct sign up link here. Servers with HostDime in Orlando FL, and Anthony claimed that they have 10 servers ready to be deployed. Domain itself has only been registered last month with adjacent DNS IPs. WHOIS says the registrant is based in Salt Lake City, although Anthony mentioned that it is partly operated from Australia and they are also launching Australia-based hosting next year. I do wonder however, why their WHT user is temporarily suspended.

LEA (LowEndAdmin) is the original founder of LowEndBox and the visionary who gave rise to an entire movement around minimalist, efficient hosting. In 2008, LEA launched LowEndBox with a simple but powerful idea: that it was possible to run meaningful applications, web servers, VPNs, mail servers, and more – on small, low-cost virtual machines with minimal resources.
At a time when most infrastructure discussions were dominated by high-end servers and enterprise platforms, LEA championed the opposite approach: lightweight Linux distros, self-managed servers, open source software, and thoughtful optimization. This philosophy gave birth to the term “Low End Box”, which would come to define a new genre of hosting tailored to developers, tinkerers, and budget-conscious users around the world.
Through LowEndBox and its companion forum, LowEndTalk, LEA built the foundation for what would become one of the most active and enduring communities in the hosting world, prioritizing knowledge-sharing, transparency, and accessibility.
After several years of nurturing the site and community, LEA stepped away from active involvement, passing the torch to a new generation of admins, contributors, and moderators. Today, LEA remains a respected figure in the LowEnd ecosystem, credited with launching a platform and philosophy that continues to influence thousands of infrastructure providers and users globally.
LowEndBox’s legacy, and its thriving community, is a direct result of LEA’s original vision.
I really like their website, simple and yet beautiful!
Thanks for the feature LEA! 🙂
Great place you got here.
@Jake, thanks, we put months of effort getting our company 100% ready for production, your feedback means a lot to us. We’re sure to stand out from the crowd!
I hope you all have a great Xmas.
Happy New Years,
Anthony
Suspicious, no a word about a company on their site.
No address have I found either. Just email and phone number.
According to whois, domain was created on 13-nov-2010.
Since that all, I won’t trust the company, no matter how good their offer is.
Sad, but true…..
“With a non-oversold service” I hope this is ture~
i hope the not oversold is true. but i have more hope for all vps seller no oversold too. but i think this thing just a dreaming come true
“WHT user is temporarily suspended.” reminds me of diverseweb before they go to dead pool
CloudStatic.com website has been blank for a week, although their WHMCS (of free license) still seems to be working.
