Ernie, from HudsonValleyHost, has written us to share three special Cyber Monday offers, exclusive to LowEndBox.com! No coupon code is needed to signup to these reduced priced OpenVZ and KVM packages!
OpenVZ VPS
| Windows KVM
| Atom C2758

HudsonValleyHost is part of the Velocity Servers Network Exchange, the owner or LowEndBox.com and LowEndTalk.com as well as ColoCrossing. While they initially started as a separate entity, they eventually got absorbed by VSNX. Having said that, the domain hudsonvalleyhost.com has been around since 2004 and I believe they have been doing business since. These offers are available in either of five locations, with the exception of the Atom Dedicated server. The dedicated server takes between 48 and 72 hours to be provisioned. While there has been one negative review on their last offer here, Ernie is always quick to respond to questions there and at the helpdesk. Please let us know your experiences with HudsonValleyHost in the comments. For now, enjoy these offers!
HudsonValleyHost accept payments via credit cards and PayPal. They offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee but don’t seem to offer refunds. Servers come with full root access and will be setup instantly once payment has been made. According to their website, HudsonValleyHost have picked up several awards over the past few years. cPanel can be added for an additional $15/month. As usual, we suggest you read their Terms of Service before purchasing.

i want try to order, but my IP was banned by cloudflare :(
Can you PM ME your IP ill take a look for you.
I use XL provider on Indonesia, and can’t access http://www.hudsonvalleyhost.com/ and it does’nt have static IP.
Are you still want to order? PM me, I can help you :) @John Hawk
cloudfare has banned my ip also,I emailed there support till death and they unbanned me
As far I know, Ernie was all-in-one earlier and after that Colocrossing took the ownership ??
I don’t know about the “before” situation, but it is correct that the parent of ColoCrossing also owns Hudson Valley Host.
Out Of Stock :(
If ip spamlisted by gmail ,is refund possible?
Why would anyone give you a refund after blacklisting an IP?
at the time if signup if banned?
Their ips are all blacklisted, because colocrossing has zero respect for RBLs and refuses to remove spammers.
Wow, the Windows VPS is hot, out of stock :(
What’s the difference between all the colocrossing-owned hosts, especially since they’re also hosted within colocrossing? Do some of them oversell more than others? Or is there some other difference?
Right now all Windows VPS are out of stock. Good thing..
But maybe you wanna take a look at HostWinds, they also have Cyber Monday deals right now and you get 10GB more disk space and unlimited traffic for .25$ less ;)
Windows KVM has been restocked.
Any review for this provider, I am a new in lowendbox
I want to buy
OpenVZ VPS
3GB RAM
need honest review for this provider please
thanks
I have been using Hudson Valley Host for nearly 2 years. Had very few down-times (other host providers fails too), mostly due to hardware or wiring related, but they resolve fast.
Ernie is a cool and good person, he quickly responds to emails, gives you discounts.
We are using Hudson Valley Host for staging servers for pre-production test, we found that CPU is very fast, network speed is moderately fine.
Once we lost data with ubuntu server in /data partition. The same /data partition has been lost with other provider also. Take frequent backup.
I would recommend to go far monthly plan, once you satisfied, check with Ernie for 3 years!!
I want to buy OpenVZ for 3 years, assuming that I have free ssh access to my account. Otherwise I would like further details.
For how long will the offer of OpenVZ at $89 for three years be available? I would like to buy it in three weeks. Will it be possible then?
Hopefully last question. I can install a newer version of operating system inside the provided container, right? Like subscribing for Debian 6 and then install Debian 7 or Fedora 20/21. Thanks!
Edit: subscribed for OpenVZ and so far it seems very good. Newer operating systems (like debian/centos 7) are available out of the box.
Do you have Ubuntu 14.04 x64 available for 3gb ram VPS ?
That’s weird. I asked earlier about the availability of Ubuntu 14.04 x64 for a 3gb ram VPS. That post seems to no longer exist …
Sooo, can you do an Ubuntu 14.04 x64 3gb ram VPS ?
I am confirming, ubuntu 14.04 is available. They even got some bonuses in there that most VPS providers won’t provide. Also Ernie told me that they will add anything, as long as it is compatible with SolusVM and I trust him. I already see 2 of the other non-standard builds (and several versions of them too) that I had inquired about, so I can tell they were proactive about the inquiry.
Ah ha – apologies. It was still awaiting moderation …
Hrm, still no answer about Ubuntu 14.04 x64 minimal. OS choice for the 3gb ram one still only lists up to 12.04.
Travis from support says it should be available. I ordered to confirm and will get a refund from them if not. I will update you when they set up my account.. within 72 hours.. (way too long).

Also you can escalate tickets if you are unhappy with a ticket response.. to management, that’s pretty cool.
Opened a sales ticket with a question. Got a response in 3 minutes saying it was assigned to the “concern team”… got a response 41 hours after that saying that my ticket was “in queue”… and then about 11 hours after that the ticket was mysteriously closed.
If they treat you this way BEFORE they have your money, imagine how they are AFTER they have it.
I think I’ll go elsewhere — seems that this price is, indeed, “too good to be true”…
I apologize for closing your ticket. I thought we had talked on live chat however that may have been with another customer. None the less Ive replied to your ticket. My sincere apology.
Thanks, Ernie. Ticket has been responded to now.
Still not sure why it took over 48 hours to answer a couple simple questions. :-\
Oh wow, I go on vacation and HVH shows up and starts lying.. they lied to me…! all I am going to say.
I used this service a few years ago and made a deal over email and chat. $85 for 2 years.. 4gb RAM, 50gb HDD. 6 months into the service, it was taken down, saying I failed to pay $85 every 6 months.
I would like to check into this personally and get this resolved can you please email me details at ernie (at) hudsonvalleyhost.com
Aww.. now I am scared to buy a vps, I was about to :/
When is sales usually online? They weren’t online a while ago. I am asking in EST is possible, thank you.
There is no reason to be scared. I try very hard to resolve any issue that may come up. I am still waiting for pvtranult to contact me.
Support is hard to reach.. always goes to voicemail when I try calling and chat takes 20-30 min at least to get someone to start..
Dou have Ubuntu14.04? Its not a default set up option when ordering.
How many cpu cores will there be in the $89 VPS deal?
it comes with 1 CPU.
debian 7?
please!!!
Decided to go ahead an order.. I have no interest in contact support if it is not Ernie because it leaves me disappointed.. but they could be new and learning so I won’t judge them yet. So far I am excited, but disappointed by the false marketing of set up turnaround time.. no instant set up and I have to wait. I reached out to support and they told me it will take about 72 hours for my vps to be up (Travis…) and I need to contact sales@hudsonevalleyhost.com for help on this, he can’t help.
What you find on their home page is below and even this post says instant set up.. if not set up by midnight, seriously considering a refund for false marketing.
Free & Instant setup
All Shared, Reseller and VPS hosting plans are instantly setup upon payment so you can get to work right away. Unlike many hosting providers, we do not issue a setup fee. After all, it’s hardly fair to charge you when service provisioning is automated!
ALSO – they promised (well Travis did) that Ubuntu 14.04 is available after purchase, but it is not a default payment option and Travis told me I would be entitled to a refund if it is not available.
I apologize about the instant setup. That issue has been resolved. Ubuntu 14.04 is available within SolusVM.
Setup is complete – confirmed
Ubuntu 14.04 confirmed.
Thanks a lot Ernie.
debian 7!
debian 7
and I buy it = (
Which are the locations for dedicated server?
i never purchase any server from them any one can tell me about their service.
They are good and reliable. I have been using them for more than 2 years
slow servers, completely unreliable staff. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
My Chicago VPS has been down, or unusable since noon CST. it’s now 10:15 pm. First it was completely unusable, now, the network is so latent it’s unreliable. Not the first time, and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last.
Every IP you’ll get from colocrossing is on one RBL or another, and it’s like pulling teeth to get them to fix it.
Support is just clueless for the most part, it takes multiple replies to get them to actually comprehend what needs to be done and do it.
