Manuel from domVPS emailed me their special discount to LowEndBox readers, so their price can be brought down to my listing criteria. Use promo code LEB5 to get 5% off recurring discount so their “256MB Basic” plan would be £4.28/month (~USD$6.83). Direct sign up link.

Servers with OVH in France, and you might use their panel’s IP address for testing (188.165.216.7). The domain was created less than 2 weeks ago, registered by Cameron in UK, who also owns No1Servers. They seem to have only 3 servers at the moment), although the brand has been around since November 2009. Both NS on the same server. No info on either domVPS or No1Servers on WHT — which can be a worry to me. Facebook entry for Cameron also brings up a picture of a young kid (what’s with young-male-teens-in-UK and VPS hosting?!!!). Hmmm.

tun/tap interface is avalible?
Hey,
unfortunately we do not enable tun/tap on any virtual servers.
Cameron is 16.
Still pertty young.
I’m 16. But that doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m doing.
To be fair, abilities should never be based on age. If you look at world today, kids are learning more and more at an early age. As technology is more important in our lives than it was say 10 years ago. So give him a chance, let him prove what he can do.
Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it.
Just because he is aged 16 doesn’t mean that he isn’t capable of running a quality service hosting company. Look at the latest headlines today that kid that got charged for hacking the CID was only at the prime age of 19. Give people of today a chance because the generations are getting more and more computer literate and capable of running these types of companies at high succession rates.
their support is fast, but they need some professional who can help

Hello,
SolusVM requires you to start/stop/restart your server using the panel as various scripts run to check whether your server is online/offline/…
It indeed looks like Ubuntu is installed at this point but SolusVM shows Debian Squeeze.
Have you reinstalled the OS using SolusVM?
Could you please confirm that I am able to reinstall your VServer? Just to make sure so you don’t loose any valuable data.

Hello,
Your VPS has ubuntu 11.04 installed. I have tried to use the command reboot, and I can see that it does indeed stop the VPS, not reboot. The only way you can overcome this issue is by rebooting your server via SolusVM.
If you have any other queries, don’t hesitate to contact us!

BE CAREFULL
They dont solved the problem, and i asked for refund as i did not used the service because i need daily reboot, and they said, there is no issue, issue still remain after reboot no up.
Your VPS is running absolutely fine. There is no reason to refund you. You want domVPS to refund you because “You don’t want to login to SolusVM to reboot your VPS”? That’s your very own problem, the VPS is running as intended.
No1Servers/domVPS (as stated in the ticket) does not refund in the case that your product is fully operational.
IS IT NOT ISSUE?
with all other server we can reboot from console or ssh and server boot
and with your NO, even you tried to update it but you could not and you say THERE IS NO ISSUE,
I THINK SERVER SERVICE SHOULD BE SAME FOR ALL PROVIDERS.
Server work fine but i am just explaining that server have one issue.
anyhow i paid for 1 month and no refund so i will use it for 1 month may be u guys update this issue.
Hi, we now made reboots using SSH only possible.
While I don’t see a reason to refund either, I wanted to point out that on some networks, I can’t reach the providers control panel as the higher ports are blocked. Having more than one option is a plus in this case.
Here you go, API for rebooting via SolusVM, which you can script it outside your VPS to do scheduled reboots.
