All plans are available in Los Angeles, Florida, and Texas locations in the USA. Take note also of the generous amount of bandwidth included on each plan.

Flipper Host has been featured here multiple times before. The prices listed for this offer is much lower than they were last featured. I strongly recommend that our readers take advantage of this! Flipper Host is a registered company founded 6 years ago (2009) and have been providing budget hosting services since. They are a veteran here at LowEndBox having their first offer being posted way back in 2011. Despite the rare amount of offers and ads, they have been steadily growing as a reputable provider. No host node information was given for these offers and IPv6 is not available. All VPS however are semi managed for free!

Flipper Host accepts PayPal and 2Checkout for payments. Some of forbidden activities on their servers includes: IRC Scripts/Bots, Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers, Pirated Software/Warez, AutoSurf/PTC/PTS/PPC sites, IP Scanners, Bruteforce Programs/Scripts/Applications, Mail Bombers/Spam Scripts, File Dump/Mirror Scripts and others.     What makes these “HIGH PERFORMING VPS” or is that like a brand name, it doesn’t reflect any technical aspect? It doesn’t look like they use SSD disks and 100Mbps uplink is hardly high performing. ;-)

    • It is at a 96 GB ram node opposed to older 32 gb ram nodes and also it is at a 8 X Harddisk node with hardware raid10 oppesed to 4 nX harddisk nodes more over it is at a 1 gbps port node as opposed to older 100mbps or 300 mbps port limited nodes. Lastly It should be called high performing when you can get more ram+cpu+harddisk per cent you pay opposed to smaller with less resources vps you would get for the same cost. It all depends on what you are comparing it with by specs and by cost.

      Semi Managed includes that we will install any free (kloxo, webmin) or paid (cPanel/WHM) control panel for free and if needed we will even do the initial settings as well. On top of it we will install firewalls, harden security, configure and set settings depending on your needs. More over we will enable/disable php modules and recomply apache whenever needed (If you have a cPanel/WHM) as a control panel.

    • This is taken from our live chat conversation I believe. I see no reason why you got mad at us. We suspend anyone who abuses our nodes and gets our nodes unstable. This is why our nodes are in general stable just because we have rules.

      If you ask me about what we would we would do if an awkward name was given to a website that we host. then ask me about what we would do if you abuse with connections and bandwidth and you read that we would suspend in such case. then threaten us with all kinds of stuff for nothing.       This offer was at first intended to be only Los Angeles location and we had also only provided Los Angeles location test ip originally. Than we saw many asking for Florida Location too so we availed few Florida nodes for it.       I must have missed the part where you accuse us with charging you twice and refusing to refund you. Nothing such could have possibly happen for below reasons.

      1-) We do not see your credit card credentials as it goes by 2checkout or paypal. More over we do not have any power to withdraw any amount from anyones credit card. So you must have either paid twice by clicking the pay button twice by mistake or you might have ordered twice by mistake.
      2-) It is not and it can not be true that we refused to refund you as any such ticket would be forwarded to me or Fred and we did not refuse a single refund request today because there was no single refund request at all. (For this reason I was planning to simply refund you in full and giving you a new vps at any node location you would like for free) though in this case as lies are involved here it is better that we just refund you in full and close your account with us.

      I have checked all open and closed tickets that were created within last 48 hours. I could not see a single complaint nor refund request from this offer. I already knew that you must have made up the story about refunds and card charging as the story could not be that way even if we would choose to do so. I am certain that you have never opened any tickets with us and your comment is just made up. I am not even sure if you have ever purchased from us. If possible I request Low End Admins to help us with getting your vps ip or email registered with us or the so called ticket number where you asked for a refund. So that we can simply refund you.

    I LOVE THEIR SERVICE THEY ARE THE BEST THE FASTEST AND CHEAPEST SERVICE EVER I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU BUY FROM THEM.
    In all I really think if this stays this good I might migrate my Digital Ocean and Rackspace VPS. Their support is very neat I have been their user for a couple months and there has been a single incident were I locked myself out of my VPS by using iptables and they helped me for free outside of Rackspace I have never been helped this much I love them.

      We are as careful as possible to not overload/oversell any servers though there are times that there maybe abusers on the node which we find out and suspend in most cases.

      If you contact us via livechat OR via ticketing we will surely offer you a vps at our new nodes. I am not sure if you have seen but we even sent out a mass mail to all our current clients that wehad a new LA and Miami nodes only for clients like yourself who ever for whatever feel dissatisfied with the first box they received.

      Again contact us and we willmake sure your current node is stable as well as we will offer you migrations to any newer node as well.

    • As far as I know Magento is quite resource hungry and couple of them at 1 single vps I am not sure how many visitors there are at your sites and how your sites are working in general. Best is to test and see. But whereever your sites are hosted right now and whatever issues you are having if any would be a good sign of what would/could happen.

      I do not see how we cheat at all.
      What do you expect? Unlimited bandwidth? Do you also call a restaurant cheater just because you ate your meal too fast? More over If you really do believe you have not used 3 tb bandwidth just give me the ticket number and I will reset it for free of any charges though as long as you are not telling the truth it should just take you another 5 days to deplete your bandwidth again.

      As I said just provide your ticket number and I will reset your bandwidth usage for free of any charges for 1 time only.

      So you have paid us $2.99 for a 3tb monthly bandwidth allowed vps plan and used it up all and went on public forums to call us cheaters?

      I have for 1 single time reset your bandwidth to show our goodwill though it shall not mean you can simply go on public forums to accuse us to get more and more resources for free.

      If you believe your vps is compromised you can re-install it at solusVM unlimited times to whichever OS you like as there are no limits at it and as it is completely your responsibility. If you believe you need more traffic you can always buy more as there is no limit to it.. You have no right to use up all your monthly traffic allowence within few days and then complain about it in public forums to get more resources for free.

      While resetting your bandwidth it has came to our attention that within last 1 day you have used up not 3 TB bandwidth but rather 24 TB bandwidth. which is about 9 X of your allowed bandwidth monthly. and I do not see how you could even complain here all. 24 TB bandwidth usage just proves bandwidth reset will simply not work.

  35. Looking at it further it seems you have been using your monthly bandwidth allowence daily and every single day asking our support team to unsuspend again and again until you have used 24 tB of bandwidth on top you came to LEB to call us cheaters while in reality you have cheated us.

      • 24 tb was not in 1 day it was in 8 days resetting your bandwidth limit of 3 tb per day. So we now do know that you are a cheater and we did terminate your account with us. I do not see what your point is. You simply have got your 3 dollar vps have its bandwidth limit reset 7 times by tickets and used 3 tb per day for 8 days which is 8 times of your monthly bandwidth. Then you still did not feel ashamed to blame us with cheating you. Let us know what did you expect? You expected us to simply reset your bandwidth till you felt satisfied?

    Quite Interesting facts and fiction here, but all i can say is that i haven’t found their services that bad. May be its because i am in Africa and we never expect too much. But i find Ceko in particular very helpful in getting me setup and started. I am planing to setup something bigger for my company off their offers and services.     I signed up for a three month term with flipperhost and requested cancellation after 3 weeks. I just cannot deal with their servers constantly locking up or becoming so slooooow that they become unusable. Now their service is down for the next hour due to a raid 10 failure. Downtime due to raid 10 failure is a direct result of incompetence. Should change their name to flopper host.

Well I respect your opinion but I must say it is not so true and it can happen anywhere to anyone. More over being 3 months client with us There is no possibility that you were amongst 27 effected vps s (Which all in all had 12 hours downtime and no data loss after all which day all got 15 days free services to at least partly copensate their downtime).Yet you would still complain.

I simply requested cancelation after reading about the failure at the same location as me…I didn’t even check to see if it was the node I was down or not. Just figured it’s time to move on and test the next one. I’ve been testing VPS’s for a while and not only is this the first one to give me a jab about me being a >complainer<, you're also the first to issue a full refund.

        • Well, You were not effected and you were at a brand new node and your cancellation request was writing “I guess you know why I cancel” which we had no idea of the reason. We also could not find a single ticket from you about any complaints you could have had. All we could see was your vps was used to its fullest possible (at least ram wise) So we thought you must have gotten upset with something so much that you would not even respond to our ticket asking you what the issue was. That is why I have went ahead and issued a full refund. We do not want anyone leave us and be upset with our service nor treatment. Your node really had no issues whatsoever, we deeply regret that you even decided to cancel with us .

    Do not use their service. I have had a server with them for about three weeks and in that time a number of atrocities occurred. The server went down a lot. I run a voice server and a number of my users left due to the amount of times it was not accessible. They suspended my server for “DDoSing their server.” I had a great firewall and only run that one program – the voice server. They never assisted in figuring out why my server was supposedly DDoSing their node. Finally the worst offense came today when I complained to them the server was so laggy the console took ages to respond and no one could talk to each other. They answered back blaming my Teamspeak server for the entirety of the problem and told me to reduce the amount of connections. This is something I have run without a hiccup on other VPS servers without issue. Also it was using only about 1/40th of the power I purchased. They promptly took it offline without resolving the problem and send me another “server suspended for DDoSing the main node” email. I would steer clear of this company at all costs.

    • We only suspend once we have proof for ddossing. If you were suspended for ddossing we surely have the logs. We will suspend anyone who ddoss. More over we will even terminate those ddoss with no hesitation.

  40. I would like to summarize the complaints here and end the offer.

    As far as I could see we had couple of complaints mainly 1 personn blaming us for cheating and yet he had
    used 24 tb of bandwidth over 8 days and got hes monthly bandwidth reset for exactly 7 times in 8 days yet
    he is unsatisfied. I let you LEB readers decide if we had any wrong doing in this.

    Secondly, we seem to have 1 person complaining about the RAID10 failure at a node which was not even used
    at this promotion and unless we migrated him specially to that node it was simply locked for the last 6
    months and only 27 clients in it. We mass mailed instead of only notifying the 27 effected vps s belonging
    to 19 clients in total. Though we have seen multiple other customers got annoyed by this mass mail thinking
    they were effected while they were not even in this node. We offered 15 days free service to compansate the
    downtime while we had no data loss at all which I would consider as a success by itself. Yet we would be
    more than happy to refund anyone who was in this 1 node amongst 27 vps s of 19 clients though no one has
    asked for such refund. Indeed we have not received a single complaint ticket from any of the 19 effected
    customers. (Surely LEB community can decide how this issue was handled and how did this issue ever had any
    relevance to the LEB offer except feeling annoyed by the mass mail sent to them to inform them of the RAID
    10 issue).

    Thirdly, I see 1 person complaining about being suspended for ddossing. Ddossing effects all neighboring
    vps s and 100% of people who do ddoss just denies they ever did ddoss which is why we suspend only after
    taking the logs and proof of ddoss. Any client got suspended for ddoss has 1 time right to get hes vps
    re-installed or recreated to make sure the vps was not compromised by any hackers. Then if it just repeated
    the ddoss we would have no other option but to terminate the whole account.

    The offer will be ended by 06.06.2015 and this offer will not repeat.

    and i all runs very well, ceko has told me once i was using to much cpu, and he helped me find what was causing it, and i stopped the program, and now its all run very well no problems at all.

    time for my 2 cents

    if you pay $3 for a vps dont think you can run voice servers or minecraft off it, and using openvpn with only 3TB your going to have a bad day with that, i have had a vps with them for 3 months now and ther system runs really well for everything i run, so with flipperhost help i can run everything i need

    Well, I got 2 box on FlipperHost from their last year promo. So far I never had any big problem with them. 1 vps I use as openvpn server to my several client. So far so good.

    Another one I use as my experiment server. Their uptime I considered good enough. Everything just fine perhaps becoz I never use any hardcore application. :). Worth the dime I think

    Tied these guys for a few days and heres my short review:

    Made a request for some turnkeylinux templates asking if they was supported, got some rather confused and conflicting responses saying they did support these templates then they didnt, ok fair enough i guess i can live with rebuilding manually.

    A day later I noticed centmin was taking ages to build, rebuilt vps and then noticed commands like yum update ls etc was taking an excess of 30 seconds to complete with solus not being able to query server stats and finally failing to respond at all.

    Ticket raised with issue they responded around 40 minutes later saying the node was being investigated 3 hours + down the line no further forward I decided time to call in the refund option.

    Took a few repeated attempts (and 2 days) to get them to carry the refund out but it was completed this morning.

    I guess hiccups happen but i really didn’t want to have to wait for a day or two on end to have a project up and down.

    Good luck to them but there not for me.

      In most cases the migration needs under 10 minutes it is a simple and standard procedure. In some cases though migrations may take longer time for example when data is too large OR if the database within the data is too large.

    Servers auto shutdown when you have too much IO usage… Support is pretty quick about replying, but have no clue what they are talking about and will accuse you of DDoSing as an explanation for your downtime, see below:

    Second ticket you were complaining about auto-shutdown. I reviewed the Data Center abuse tickets and there were 6 tickets about DDOS Attacking. That’s can explain why you were suffering from auto-shutdown.

    We use Node Watch which preventing DDOS Attacking by auto-shutdown the abusing VPS. As well our Terms of Services doesn’t provide any refunds for abusing clients.

    I am pretty sure if you stopped DDOS Attacking, you will not face any more auto-shutdown.
