Hosthink - $6.95/mo 1024MB SSD OpenVZ in Istanbul, Turkey

Seref, from Hosthink, has sent in a repeat of his last offer. Bandwidth on the VZ-1024 seems to have been dropped from 1000gb to 350gb.

Over the last four months, Hosthink have appeared twice. As mentioned above, this offer is the same as the previous offer we featured, minus the bandwidth. Turkey is pretty rare in terms of LowEndBox’s, so it’s always nice listing Hosthink! Hosthink Internet Services were founded in 2010 and currently have servers in 4 different datacenters. A benchmark of their monthly plan was left on the last offer. If you’re a customer, be sure to leave a review below!

Hosthink accept payment via Paypal, Liberty Reserve and Bank transfer. They are using Dell servers for their VPS services. Their dell servers have RAID10 with BBU, Xeon Processor, Dell chassis and SSD Disks. They do not unfortunately offer IPv6 yet. Servers will be provisioned instantly. You can read their legal documents on the following PDF’s: Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Usage Policy.

  1. Is 5GB and 15GB the maximum disk space that can be offered?

    • Joel,

Disk spaces can be add additional. But we do not have exact maximum space size. It is related with nodes.

Bant genişliği neden bu kadar düşük?..

    • Arif,

Sağlanabilecek maksimum bant genişliğini sağlamaya çalışıyoruz. Mevcudiyet ile alakalı bir durum.

I have had a VZ-256 from the “unofficial” offer in December(subscribed on the 2nd of Jan). This is exactly the same offer as now except I have 7GB diskspace instead of 5. Very responsive tech support (Seref is a nice guy) and great time uptime:

    # uptime
    00:30:18 up 100 days, 13 min, 1 user, load average: 0.07, 0.02, 0.00

This is Turkey so don’t expect amazing bandwidth to the rest of the World including Europe:

    Download speed from CacheFly: 599KB/s
Download speed from Telecoms.bg, Varna, BG: 578KB/s
Download speed from FDCServers, Zlin, CZ: 597KB/s
Download speed from Equinix, Dusseldorf, DE: 554KB/s
Download speed from Hetzner, Nuremberg, DE: 592KB/s

@Seref IPv6 is still on my wishlist :)

    • Hello,

Thank you. We are working on the IPv6 but as you know that it is related with backbone provider. We are still waiting for stable service on IPv6. After tests, we will start to provide IPv6 VPS’.
