I tried OSQA and eventually went with its shut relative Askbot. each had issues, however Askbot is dead straightforward to put in during a Python virtualenv.What table kind area unit you victimization with MySQL?   7. Came across the other day – got an account Thursday night, so far it’s pretty stable. Haven’t had any major issues to speak of. Installed Plesk on my end and all that fun stuff!

    Will certainly report back if any issues arise but so far, so good.

      • I can’t say I have too many complaints outside of inexplicable server shutdowns while cPanel is running, horrendous speeds (as of the past two days or so) however, I understand you get what you pay for – I would prefer to wait it out while I bounce things off my other servers in the meantime while this is all sorted out.

        • I honestly dislike the idea of saying anything remotely negative about a company, especially in an open forum of sorts, however – we are currently going on 24 hours with zero communication. I’d like to think I’m an exceptionally patient person.

          The server went from running cPanel with shutdowns after a couple hours of running processes to no longer being able to install cPanel at all without a shut-down.

          It’s not so much the blatant instability that is troublesome, more so the complete lack of any communication. When the service would work, for the few hours my account was actually online – it was phenomenal. Now, however, it’s more of a headache than an appropriate solution to my growing concerns for servers.

          As stated previously I do not wish to “name and shame” as, I do genuinely love the idea of the services promised in the initial agreement, however I suppose people should be aware of what it is they are signing up for ahead of time.

    Nearly 12 hours and didnt activate my vps product
    Slow respone the live chat is dead. No one respond. See one guy name shows up all time. I created a cancellation ticket as their policy state no question asked if within two days. Otherwise ill file dispute with paypal.

      If you want a refund just open a ticket to the billing department you have 7days.

        I was provided with an excuse earlier that your data center was down for 12 hours and hence the delay but I was kept in the dark for 12 hours after purchase.
        anyways, just received invoice refund confirmation, after back and forth on two tickets.

    I have submitted 2 tickets after midnight and neither has been answered, and the live chat doesn’t get answered either. I’m wondering if the quote, “Work on your website at 3am or 3pm and we’ll be on hand to help if you get stuck” is true or not- this was one of the reasons I chose them. I’ll update when I get a response.

    Everything of this deal is quite attractive — Big storage places, reasonable prices.
    But the only thing that always annoys me was the anti-abuse policy.
    I rented the server for a low-end file server and sometimes it needs some file uploads to my google drive.
    The CPU usage seldomly reaches 1, but since the policy stated that over 0.8 will come to a shutdown, I was always got shutdown.

    Don’t recommend if you are not doing light things on the server, otherwise it’s ok.

  14. My vpn is down from over 5 hours (served on the moscow server).
    No answer to my ticket, no solution, live chat is dead.
    Price and specs on paper were attractive, but I’m not so happy about the service.

    Uptime 100% is also very optimistic. A part from that, when it works, it works quite fast

        All tickets DO NOT get answered. Your control panel has tickets set to expire after 2 days, yet it takes that long just to get a response and the ticket is closed. This is unacceptable and I think LEB should remove your offer as it is complete shit.

    I ordered one of these and in the 48 hours since I ordered, the server has been down more than it has been up. The tickets I opened took about 7 hours for a response.

    I am unimpressed and wanted to warn others that while they seem to talk a good game, the delivery isn’t there.

    After ordering my VPS, and being informed that it was set up, I attempted to log in over SSH using the details that I had set, which didn’t work. Afterward, I logged into the Control Panel, tried to change the root password a few times; nothing worked. Afterward, I ended up just submitting a ticket and using the Serial Console they offer in their CP. Upon connecting with the temporary details given, I logged in to find that they had given me CentOS instead of Debian 8 as I had requested. Annoying, but no big deal, so I went back to the CP and reinstalled the OS (Debian this time). Upon reinstalling, I logged in with a new temporary session in the Serial Console. I try to update the repositories only to be told that none of the repositories can be reached. Upon more investigation, I find that there’s no network interface set up. After tinkering for a while, I still haven’t managed to get the server to connect to the internet. It’s got Google’s DNS set, I’ve tried setting up a new network interfaces under /etc/network/interfaces to no avail. I’d been Over 8 hours since the first ticket and it doesn’t look like my latest ticket will be answered any time soon, either. On top of this, their “Live Chat” is totally non-functional. They don’t have live chat, it may say they do on the website, but that’s complete bullshit.

    They’ve somehow managed to roll out VPS that don’t have network interfaces, and misconfigured SSH. Live support doesn’t work. They don’t respond to tickets after several hours. Absolutely do not recommend; stay away and run for the hills.

    I have already bought 3 VPS that where activated between 30 minutes and 2 hours. 2x single core and 1x quad core. Good VPS (speed etc.) for the money.

    But no answers to tickets at all. Yesterday I paid for another quad core VPS and the only thing I have received (email) is the bill and that I have paid it. No activation of the VPS!

    Pro: good VPS :-)
    Con: No support/service :-(

    The client site, as well as my VPS, are running _extremely_ slow even just to install a simple app like nano from apt. I have submitted a ticket, which was responded to as they are aware and it will be fixed soon. That was 3 hours ago and I need to finish my work on the server. Just wanted to share my experience. Overall, I do love their support but if the VPS and their client site are both running slow and timing out, this could indicate a larger issue.

THe servers are down all the time, and they have random people stating it’s my fault that the VPS was offline. They don’t respond to tickets, the service is crap. I’m done, I have asked for a credit or cancellation.

  28. Very sorry for the problems that occurred.
    It seems the staff I left in charge was not the appropriate team to handle the company for 2months while I was gone. I was able to at least manage at the end to fix all the problems when it worsen towards the end.
    You might all wonder why I was gone or away for 2months or what not. I am sending out an email out to everyone today of my absence. Most of everyone will understand and would be supportive.
    In a quick fast note of what happened; I just got back from serving my country (USA).

    Ordered the 10GB RAM VPS on Saturday am, received order confirmation that VPS would be set up shortly. Product still in Pending mode as of Sunday am. Opened a ticket about it Sunday am. Received ticket confirmation auto reply. Now their client portal website is down: https://client.hostslayer.com/. Main website is still accessible: https://hostslayer.com/.

    I’m starting to wonder if anyone is there and when the VPS product I paid for will actually be active???

      Having a similar problem. Ordered a VPS 24hrs ago, received an order confirmation, received an Invoide that I paid with WMZ. Not I even cant log in into CLient area, my email is not recognized, and I cant add my email in “forgot password”. Tickets are not replied within 24hrs (surely they dont need to but im worried that my money is gone and I dont get my ordered VPS – which I urgently need…), and the “live chat” with status “Online” does not reply too.

    At first they cancelled my service by “Overdue” but I actually paid.
    Re-opening it resulted in a TOTAL LOSS of the whole SERVER!

    I opened 2 tickets since the day, and now 10 days passed and their so-called “investigation” turns out to no avail.


    USE GOOGLE CLOUD INSTEAD if you wish to have cheap and reliable services.

    Nobody answer tickets, some tickets are closed automatically by the system because nobody answer.

    I think is just one person managing all services and have.
