The test IP addresses for Dallas (162.212.59.218) and NYC (172.110.20.1) do not have anything to download and test. Please check and confirm. Thanks.

The offer on LEB says 5x IPV4, but the linked page of limits says only 2. Not a deal breaker for me, but just thought I’d point out the discrepancy.

        Hi, thanks for replying :)

Try https://serverscope.io/ on the NY location. It seems like a VERY new service but worked good when I tried it on my existing machines.

        • Looks like we actually just ran out of stock in NY.

I just placed a new order for hardware. You can however still place an order if you choose. You choose the location when you deploy a VM in our panel so you can always deploy to NY later when we have more stock

  17. Hello,

    @Alex_Wacker

You mentioned earlier it takes a few minutes to setup new orders. Is this only during working hours or anytime of the day? I placed an order on 6/15 @ 7:31PM EST. It’s now 8:38PM on 6/15.

Note: I am aware that you are manually verifying orders.

  25. I ordered the VDR4 with the intention of setting up a regional MySQL CDN DB node in NYC. It seems that their control panel was not set up correctly because I was unable to assign any resources to a NYC VPS. I ended up instead setting up VPS’s in both Texas and Washington however the Washington VPS appears to have client isolation problems and was plagued with CPU contention lag which caused rather long lag times. I cant really argue with the price but I would not recommend running any time sensitive processes like MySQL or game servers on it.

    June 30, 2016 @ 3:21 am | Reply
    • Our panel was not setup incorrectly. When a location is out of stock it does not show up in the panel as an option to deploy to. It was just restocked so it should show up now.

As for the CPU issues, please open a ticket and we will look into it right away.

The Ad reads “free scheduled backups” but the TOS reads “Backups
Subnet Labs does not take backups of servers. It is the responsiblity of the customer to keep their data safe and backed up.”

Also, WTF is up with “no Minecraft servers”??? The whole point of getting a VPS is to run a private Minecraft server to keep the kids off the idiocy out there.

    Fail.

    July 2, 2016 @ 7:03 pm | Reply
    • The ad says that because you have the ability to take snapshots. Our TOS says that because we do not automatically backup all servers on the node. You should always be taking your own backups.

“The whole point of getting a VPS is to run a private Minecraft server to keep the kids off the idiocy out there”

A VPS has way way more uses than just running minecraft. We do not allow minecraft because the software is resources abusive (which causes performance issues for others on the node) and because it often attracts network attacks (ddos) from the very kids you just mentioned.
