George from LoliHosting emailed me their new offers a while ago. They had only launched back in June, and now they are hosting various virtualization solutions over 5 different locations. Use the coupon code LEB to get 10% off their OpenVZ plans in Los Angeles and Xen plans in Germany. Here are two of their low end plans:
- XEN192 in Falkenstein, Germany
- 192MB memory/384MB swap
- 15GB storage
- 500GB/month data transfer
- 1x IPv4 + 1x IPv6
- $3.56/month (Direct Signup Link)
- VZ192 in Los Angeles CA
- 192MB guaranteed/384MB bustable memory
- 15GB storage
- 300GB/month data transfer
- 1x IPv4 + 1x IPv6
- $3.11/month (Direct Signup Link)
Payment wise, they support PayPal, and Alipay. George is a 2nd year Xiamen University student but there might be some other helpers taking care of the support.

The first link leads me to the XEN384 instead of the XEN192 plan.
Also, test IPv4 and IPv6 for both locations?
Information is available on their homepage :)

I guess we can try this from an old post for LA 184.22.28.90 (Burst… BURSTNET).
And the Germany ones surely are Hetzner, so, ping anything in hetzner xD
Hi, we are no longer with BurstNET. :)
So, and where are the IPs and tests that rm requested? lol
@Yomero
in the spam filter of LEB, I’ve found the test IPs already and posted here linking to their nicely done web pages about data centers, but my post did not come through :)
Yeah, I found it…
Let’s try
LA http://bit.ly/vg3eDG
DE http://bit.ly/rwGpam
It’s on page http://www.lolihosting.com/virtual-private-server/los-angeles-ca.html

@rm — sorry it went to the wrong plan. Link fixed.
Is it only /128 IPv6?
Well the DC only gave us a /64, so you can get more if its less than a /64. Free.
“only” :D
Francisco
That should be enough though. :-P
Your Xen supports loading our own kernel?
Yes, and we also support Xen HVM, please email to sales@lolihosting.com telling us the resource you need.
Lulz.. Loli Hosting?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolicon
Yeah… Interesting name…
Aww, come on, not the name issue again! See the past threads for explanation that it really meant “lollipop” as in “sweet”, etc, etc. But I for one really wish they would stop being ashamed of the name and instead embraced it, for example remaking the whole website in an anime-theme. Because currently that name just makes me smile and think of http://www.japanator.com/elephant/ul/14632-620x-head.jpg working hard to provide you a good VPS. :)
Yeah I like the idea :D
Also, I liked more the old site. Now is boring u_u lol
That will be refreshing from the “headset hotties” that’s pretty much on every other web hosting sites… But yeah, George has already grabbed the correct-spelling domain from last time so he might have plans to migrate over sometime.
The sweet lollipop is spelt well lollipop with 2 l’s.
When its one l, it means manga porn.
Just…stop talking about porn things…
Also, lolicon only means some one who likes young girls, that’s all, nothing about porn.
Still, thats nothing proud for your company to be named,
I’ll have it changed.
Oh please. We’ve had providers here with their names named after sex with animals as well as female medical procedures. We’ve seen worse folks.
I/O on LoliHosting: (using dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync)
16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 16.2264 s, 66.2 MB/s (on Xen HVM in Germany)
Speedtest to Cachefly:
Saving to: `100mb.test’
104,857,600 4.99M/s in 18s
2011-11-12 15:35:12 (5.70 MB/s) – `100mb.test’ saved [104857600/104857600]
Sounds good.
By default it’s xen pv, but it’s possible to ask for a xen hvm if we need like a BSD, right?
If so how would that work?
thx
To get HVM just contact support and ask to get moved to HVM.
Ok, cool. Same node?
Same node. :)
Currently we can run FreeBSD successfully, also have Solaris 11 running on PV mode, but one of my friends runs Solaris11, so I dont know how he set it up..
FreeBSD -> HVM?
Solaris -> PV?
Wow
I dont know how to set Solaris11 PV up, my friend did.
But I’ve tested FreeBSD on HVM successfully.
Hmm when I try to order the XEN192 VPS it says it’s $6.26 after discount, not $3.56?
It’s Xen384, the link is wrong.
I have the XEN192 (obviously in Germany). Support is very fast and decent. Latency to my country is very very good. VPS is under NAGIOS monitoring since I purchased it and so far there are no alarms and/or any issues.
I hope my experience continues to be as excellent as now :)
try xen192 package and use it for a wordpress installation under nginx @ debian 6 … everything is great.
And A++++ rate for their support :)
Looking forward to provide a stable and excellent service for you! :-)
Hope I can bring down the price for you on XEN384 plan, but you know, Xen with SolusVM means non-oversell, so.. maybe next time! :-)
Paypal Gateway does’t work, can’t pay be paypal now.
I got 2 servers in gernamy. So far so good.
are they still in business?
how come there is no ticket replying?
are they still n business?
Yes, they are still in business.
I have a 768mb server from them, i pay ~10€ and it’s very fast!
I host 6 web sites and a Minecraft server. :)
The host seems to be very heavily loaded since about 1200 GMT on 12 July 2012. Several support tickets have been raised, but there is no response.
I think someone is using too much cpu and is overloading the server…
They don’t reply to tickets now.
I ended up walking George through resolving the DDoS problem on 13 July.
I have did a Benchmark on my 768mb server with geekbench:
