ManobanWeb, a webhosting business based in Ireland, have some pretty cheap VPS plans, as advertised on WHT. For Lite plan it’s $5.95/month, and you get:
- 128MB memory
- 5GB storage
- 100GB/month data transfer
- 1 IP address
- HyperVM
No word on the virtualization technology so I assume it would be OpenVZ based (as HyperVM supports either OpenVZ and Xen, and Xen is more tedious to setup). Their website is hosted on a Solar VPS server in New York. No idea where their VPS are so let’s assume it’s in the same DC. The VPS are at Tampa FL (thanks to Adam’s comment).
